MIKE STURDIVANT FIREWOOD

Mike was very responsive, not only to my initial phone call to arriving promptly (even early), and he moved quickly, was careful, and stacked the wood beautifully. I used to burn 10 cords of wood a year, so I know the importance of a nicely and professionally stacked wood pile. I look forward to buying more from Mike. His prices was very reasonable, to boot.

The seller showed up with a large truckload of very nice firewood. When I questioned whether it was a cord of firewood (128 cubic feet), he got angry and jacked his truck backwards into my driveway, then got out and began berating me because he had driven 40 miles to deliver it.
The seller stacked the firewood very neatly and left. The wood was cut to the right length (under 18"), and it was dry. However, when I got out a tape measure, the wood came to 92 cubic feet. (Later, the seller disputed the length of the stacks, but even if we use his measurements, it still came to 108 cubic feet, hardly a cord of wood.)
I wanted to resolve the issue and be able to leave him a positive review here, so I called the seller and left a message asking for another 36 cubic feet of firewood. He called back and agreed to "make me happy." 
Well, he showed up two hours before the appointed time, at a time I had told him I would still be at work. Instead of bringing wood to fill out the cord, he brought an empty truck, and when I arrived home early, he was filling the truck to take it all back. (NOT what we had agreed to.) At this point, he was nearly done putting all the wood back into his truck. He handed me the selling price in cash and said we were now square.
Because I need firewood to keep my house warm in the winter, and because it's early November already, I was not happy. I tried to reason with him, but the wood was pretty much loaded at that point, and the cash was in my pocket and, frankly, I couldn't reason with him ... so now I'm looking around for someone else to deliver firewood before the cold season hits.

Mike showed up at noon, unloaded and stacked the wood to me length requirements. It was a mixture of hickory and oak, very good quality. I gave him a check for $350. I was very pleased with the service and would order from him again.

I couldn't get firewood from my usual person so I was able to get a hold of Mike Sturdivant and he brought me a large load of firewood in a terrible ice storm.  It was amazing.

Was on time,  very polite. The minute he arrived he started stacking the fire wood where I had my rack.  (This  far better  than the guy I bought from last year who just dumped the wood in my driveway and left). This old Army gal couldn't be happier

Very prompt service. Delivered and stacked firewood in rack in the back of the house. Very nice coming home and not having a pile of firewood left someplace in the yard. Wood looks great and burns well. I will use Mike again for firewood!

I called Mike during a very busy rush so even though it took him a couple of calls to get set and to complete the order, I didn't worry about that.  And he was conscientious about making sure I got wood that was the right size for my smaller wood stove.  I'll be sure to order earlier, before the fall rush, next time.

Mike was prompt, professional, and delivered great wood. He worked with me on the best time for delivery and neatly stacked the wood in my existing pile. The wood is great quality hardwood. I will certainly use Mike in the future.
