Terrible. It took a month to get a bid that was, in my opinion padded. When I asked them to sharpen their pencils and resubmitt the bid, I got attitude. They were trying to charge $10,000 supervising fee, on top of the 15% contracting fee. Months later I had to call them to find out if he had revised the bid, only to be asked "what numbers did you find?" All the while the kept my $2,500 retainer, that I was told would go towards my job. Needless to say I didn't hire this company. When I emailed them to confirm that I wasn't going with them, the owner called me and when he startinv screaming at me I told Mr. Krichman I was hanging up because I don't tolerate such disrespect. They chose not to return my money and claimed they spent LOTS more....

I found Krichco through a glowing referral from a local business acquaintance. I called the owner, Andy Krichman,
and we spoke in length about the ideas I had for our remodeling. When Andy came out to see the house the first time, he not only remembered our initial conversation in detail, he talked through all of my ideas and was honest about the practicality of them in both function and cost. He had design suggestions that were both creative and showed his attention to quality and detail. He then followed up with a very detailed quote for each part of the remodeling, and talked me through ALL costs, pointing out those that could be reduced or eliminated, i.e. storing materials in my garage to save the cost of weather protection, to name just one. Andy is personable, honest and obviously loves what he does. He went out of his way to ensure that my 'vision' for the work
matched the plans and the final outcome.
The work itself went very smoothly and was always on schedule. Chis, the project manager, was amazingly efficient, patient and
kind, and all the subcontractors were equally professional, frank and thorough. Vitaly, the carpenter, does beautiful work with wood, and I love the cabinetry and bench he made for us. Andy was always responsive to my concerns and came to the house if I needed him to look at something. His attention to the details of finishings is invaluable. When the work was finished, Andy went through each of the final costs with me, against the estimated costs, and we ended up UNDER budget by not an insignificant amount.
I am extremely pleased with the remodeling Krichco did for us. I highly recommend Andy and his team.

Andy, owner of Krichco Construction, is most definitely not your run of the mill general contractors. In fact, he's quite the opposite and that's why my wife and I chose Krichco Construction to build our custom home back in 1995. Other contractors that we interviewed tried to convince us to modify our house plans to fit their comfort zone, cookie cutter, business as usual way of construction. We had the feeling that with those contractors our 2-story brick home with full basement would've ended up being a 1200 sq.ft. ranch if they would've had their way. Andy on the other hand was willing, and more importantly able, to give us exactly what we wanted and in a few cases upgraded some things that we never expected. He was always ready to give helpful advice or optional solutions if asked and never tried to push his agenda when not. Make no mistake, every new construction or major
renovation project will hit a few bumps in the road and ours was no exception but using a contractor like Andy who has exceptionally good problem solving skills helps to smooth out the bumps making the whole process more enjoyable.
We actually lived next door to our building project making daily inspections very easy. Being so close, not only in proximity but also with the whole construction process from its beginning to end, we would often take for granted the quality of both materials and workmanship that was going in front of our own eyes. But when family and friends would occasionally drop by at different stages of construction to check up on the progress, they quickly noticed and expressed to us just how impressed they were with our contractor, Andy, and how well built and sturdy our home is. Now, 17-years later, those same family and friends still comment on the quality and beauty of our home. Thanks so much to Andy and Krichco Construction for building our dream home!

Andy Krichman first came out to our house to give us a bid on the project we had in mind. We had some general ideas, but werent sure on specifics. Andy gave us a lot of great options that we had not thought of to add more space. When we decided to start the project, Andy's team showed up to our house on time everyday and began working promptly on arrival. The project ran smoothly and ended right on schedule.

The attention to detail is what sets Krichco apart for other work that I have seen. When you want someone you can trust to build your project better than you imagined, Andy Krichman is who you need to call. Since our job, I have referred him to a few other friends. Each time I have gotten a phone call thanking me for introducing.

I highly recommend Krichco Construction for any size remodel or new construction. When we build our new home, you can bet Andy will be our General Contractor.

Their pricing was high and the quality of their work was bad. I was not satisfied with their service. I also tried going to the Better Business Bureau.
