 + -1 moreKeith did a wonderful job building our house. Their is a lot of thought and quality that obviously went into its construction (and I know because I do a lot of the repair work on the house myself.) Unfortunately because he's elected to change his mind and ignore me in my attempt to get a warranty repair (the skylights are Velux and have a 10 year leak proof guarantee if installed properly), I'm looking at a $2000 replacement job vs a warrantied repair or less expensive fix. Bummer. Update 6/3/14 Luckily I noted the name of the roofer Keith is now working with when I talked to him the first time. Turns out that company was able to effect a repair quickly at the price Keith quoted with the warranty he mentioned. I was able to get the problem taken care of at a fraction of the price I was otherwise being quoted thanks to the indirect referral from Keith. I just wish the process hadn't been so strange.
Description of Work: Keith built my house 9 years ago. I'm the second owner. I called him up regarding some improperly installed skylights that are leaking. They were installed improperly by the original roofer. This means that even though they should have a 10 year warranty, they don't due to the installation. I asked Keith if he could help me. He said he could and would get me in touch with his roofer who could fix them for $200-300 each. I later got an email from him indicating he'd changed his mind and couldn't help me. I asked for a referral to the original roofer so I could reach out to them for help. No response from Keith.
