piano tuning
+ -1 moreWe hired someone else. He fixed the piano the same day and re-tuned it for around $250. You can be the judge of what was going on.
Description of Work: Mr. Haynes determined that we were good for bilking and estimated that it would be about $1500 to put our piano back into prime condition and to re-tune it. When we balked at the price he charged us $170+ for the trip and the diagnosis and said that if we had him come back to do the repairs he would apply a portion of this towards the repair (1 key was double striking and it was slightly out of tune).
