The frame job looks excellent. They were extremely expensive compared to comparable work I've had done elsewhere. I will shop around a bit more for my next framing due to the price.

This is the best frame store in the triangle and I've been going here for many yrs. They have custom frames by Edward Wright of Hillsborough, NC as well as other unique, high end frames. Goes way beyond typical nice stuff like Larson-Juhl.
Also, Verna, one of the owners, was an expert at framing and had fantastic taste and sensibility. Unfortunately, she is retiring so I would still recommend the shop highly but you might want to get several opinions within the store if you aren't confident of your options. Frame corners can also be checked out for a day or two to see how they look at home. Very friendly, helpful service. Many hand carved options- very different from mass machine produced stuff- it depends on how important a piece is to you.
For photos, posters or prints requiring simple frames, if you want to economize, you might want to go to another store. But they do have beautiful, simple, hand splined wooden frames for photos from Edward Wright as well. The Ackland Art Museum at UNC uses Edward Wright frames.
