The work was done very professionally and well. Dan and his carpenters pointed out and fixed an existing problem with siding that was not even part of the project. He achieved exactly what I envisioned, fitting that vision into the reality of a very small space (smaller than I realized). The tile work is exceptional and his solutions to problems were the best.

The job cost me less than $400. It was a positive experience. He was very accommodating. He did a reasonably good job considering that it was a difficult job to match to the existing tile work. He did a good job for me. I will use him again in the future.

Prompt return call , very personable . Quick availability to repair. Even worked on Saturday to get done fast so we could get the 1/2 installed rug in. He gave us good advice on choosing new toilet and installed it. Work was excellent and we are having him do some remodeling now.

They were very good and I will use them again. They were upfront about what they do and they did it.

Dan priced his work by the hour and was always honest about that. While we didn't have a firm estimate of the cost to start out with, he gave us ballpark figures that were adequate and that turned out be accurate. When something unexpected showed up (requiring more time) he explained the problem and billed for it appropriately.

I hired this contractor because he seemed trustworthy and had good availability (I needed the project done by a certain date). However, once we signed the contract his availability was not as open as I had hoped and it was difficult to firm up a start date- part of this was due to the fact that I was out of town. The overall process took longer than I was told it would, but again may have been delayed because I was away. My deadline was missed by a few days. Overall, the work quality was excellent, with only a few minor details overlooked. Though he was not the cheapest estimate I received, he seemed very thorough and tried to work within my budget.

Dan Difranco is a straight shooter. His prices are competitive and very fair. I would recommend them that you are clear about your time frames as he is highly sought out. I would definitely recommend him.
