They used their scan tool and cleared a few codes, and then it started. They didn't feel they did any actual work, so didn't charge me a cent! They even drove me home when I dropped it off, and picked me up to go back and get the car later that afternoon.

It's easy to get in and the people are nice, and it's close. There's a little waiting room. They had to do one thing twice because it didn't work the first time.

It went fine. I had made an appointment, and the service was provided promptly. The crew was professional and knowledgeable about what was needed, answering all my questions and pointing out how to prevent the wear patterns on the old tires. Comfortable waiting area, lots of parking, walking distance to major shopping mall so trip can be combined with other needs.

I have been taking my car to Chapel Hill Tire Company for years, and I have always found them honest and professional before my most recent experience. A few months ago my wife was involved in a collision which required mechanical work, and we decided to use Chapel Hill Tire. When it came time to make an insurance claim on the work, we were informed by the insurance company of 2 issues caused by the work of Chapel Hill Tire: 1) they did not wait for authorization by the insurance adjuster before performing the work 2) they charged us for what the insurance company considered to be an excessive amount of labor costs, and for which we were not compensated by the insurers.The insurance company implied that Chapel Hill Tire was attempting to gouge the insurer by claiming unreasonable labor charges, and we were forced to pay this cost out-of-pocket.
When we later took the car to the body shop, we were told by the proprietors that all mechanics should know to obtain pre-authorization before performing work, and not to do so was irresponsible, if not outright duplicitous,
Furthermore, when we later took the car to the dealership for routine maintenance, we happened to show the dealers the receipt from Chapel Hill Tire related to the collision. The dealer said that Chapel Hill Tire had, in addition to performing the collision repair, performed routine maintenance that had nothing to do with the collision. But, this maintenance was performed months earlier than required. We were under the impression that all of the work performed was in relation to the collision, and by performing and charging us for work which we had not asked for, we felt cheated for the second time.

These guys used to be the best. Some people died/retired/moved-on and needless to say, I no longer go there. Overpriced, rude, and unable to fix simple problems (i.e. a fan belt and tensioner done twice in one year). I no longer take my car to them EVEN for inspection (did so for 10 years).

The guys here are friendly and efficient. They called with an estimated and explained very well the problems and solutions. All work was completed as promised in a timely fashion. I would definately recommend!

Monday drove truck to shop first thing in morning as it was stalling while driving. That afternoon we were informed we needed a new Fuel Pump Assembly and they could have done by next afternoon. Retrieved truck on Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday morning drove truck and on second time start up it kept stalling and wouldn't restart. Had to have truck towed to repair shop.
Later that afternoon we receive call and we were told apparently their was a and quot;loose connectionand quot;. Good thing we have AAA and the towing was covered. They never even asked if they needed to cover the towing bill or maybe offer a free oil change as obviously this loose connection was due to installation error.
Next day.. I am driving vehicle and parked in grocery store parking lot.. a person walks out and points out that under the truck a hose is hanging down touching the ground. Since I was literally across the street from shop I drove it over. Now, it was 3:30 p.m. and yes, they close @5:00 p.m. However, I felt they should be able to look at this due to the earlier situations from the week. The service representative clearly didn't agree with me.
So I wait 45 mins.. and she brings me my key and says and quot;oh it was a exhaust hose that was probably knocked loose or the clamp broken during the install of the pump.and quot;
Good thing it wasn't anything dangerous.

We're delighted with their service quality. We moved to NC recently and they took care of our car inspection and even mounted our new plate. We went back for an oil/lube. We recommend them highly.

I would use them again in the future.

I had an excellent experience with them. They were very kind and didn't charge me anything. They tightened the valve at no charge. They close for lunch which is a little unusual to me. It's a little inconvenient as well. They give their boys an hour for lunch as apposed to staggering their time. I would use them again in the future.

I spent about $4500 on the job. I was getting my truck completely ready to be licensed. It had multiple problems. My experience with them was very good. I liked their professionalism, their timing, and the quality of their work. I would use them again in the future.

We dropped off the car the night before. They repaired the tire and called us when the call was ready. It was easy and pain free. They also have a shuttle van to pick you up.
