Philip and his assistant responded quickly and arrived within two hours.  They immediately identified the problem and replaced a defective wall switch.  Total time approximately 12-15 minutes and they left the house.  A few days later I received an email invoice for $175 which I questioned.  The response was "NO" that is correct because their minimum charge for a  house call is $170 based on a minimum labor charge of $150 and on top of that a $20 service call.  The switch was $5.  I want to add that their hourly charge beyond the first hour is also $150.  Perhaps if you have a major job to be done and can negotiate a cost, you might want to use them, but if you need someone to take care of a minor problem I do not recommend them because of the their pricing schedule.  I think you agree $170 minimum just to show up is a rip-off.  Buyer beware.

As I explained above, I was told how long it would be to complete the work and they were right on!

Overall, the job appears to be done well. Communication was also excellent, so I knew what to expect.

Everything Beamco has done for us has been perfect. I highly recommend Bob Bauman and his crew. He is boiler-certified, too, if you have one. (Some providers let you assume they are, or they "borrow" a buddy's license number.) Because Beamco is so good, fairly priced and trustworthy, their schedule is often backed up, especially during a summer heat wave. Just wait for them!

HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB. I AM ALWAYS TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK HE DOES FOR US. THE HEATER STILL WORKS AND HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WE TRUSTED TO FIX IT FOR US.
