Andy Law and his team were great partners throughout this process - very professional, and always available to provide explanations and patiently answer all my questions. In addition, they provided advice on matters not related to my mortgage which helped me settle successfully into my new home. I would definitely recommend them!

My fiancee and I had a difficult financing situation with our new home and Andy was very devoted to finding solutions that worked for us. For example, some of the difficulties included: we were not married yet and only one of us was financing the mortgage while the other was paying the down payment, and we were coordinating this purchase while living in Sweden and he was more than flexible to take meetings via Skype. Andy knew the market very well and while managing our varied inputs he was able to find a mortgage bank that not only would work for us, but was a competitive option. As the time came close to lock rates, he was also very responsive to regular calls inquiring the status of the market and whether it was opportune time to lock. The only reason we gave him a "B" for professionalism is that one of his employees forgot to have me sign an important form until the last minute. By the time they realized the mistake, we were traveling abroad and our closing was a few days away. We had to find a way to print, sign, and mail in the form from Europe. I am sure it was an honest mistake, but it caused a pretty big headache for us in an already frenetic time!

The process has lots of steps and Andy and his crew steered us through them with patience and kept us up to date on the next steps and what further documentation was needed. They consistently gave good feed back and timely deadlines. They completed the process very swiftly--in about a month which was much speedier than with other lenders. They did what they said they would do and did it on time to make the process as smooth as possible. I highly recommend Andy and his firm--his crew is friendly, good humored, and stayed on top of our application as we went through the process. Kudos for Andy and his firm.

Andy was an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I were purchasing our first house and therefore had a TON of questions about the process of getting a home loan. Andy was able to answer all of our questions and when we sent emails, his responses were prompt and imformative. Additionally, the period of time between our offer being accepted and closing was very short. We had no issues getting the loan approved in time thanks to the hard work of Andy and his team.

We received a call from Andy regarding better interest rates on our mortgage and worked with him to refinance our house. This re-finance went through quickly and easily. We have been working with Andy for our mortgage needs since 2000. He has always been extremely informative about our mortgage options, and he has always been very easy to work with. Also, he has always made the financing and re-financing of our properties easy and stress free. I wouldn't want to work with anyone else.

Every aspect of the transaction went extremely well. After I initially contacted Andy------Within 2 days I had received all the nesessay paperwork to expedite my transaction. Completed the paperwork------Provided the necessary financial documentation and within 2 weeks my mortgage was approved. Extremely satisfied with every aspect of the transaction. Very much appreciated Andy's expertise and professionalism which enabled the approval of my transaction on a timely basis.

Andy Law was recommended by my real estate agent. We wanted to have a relatively quick closing, and Andy pulled it off. He was quick to get the necessary information from me in order to lock in the interest rate during a period in which rates were rising quickly. He and his assistant were in frequent communication after that to help me understand what documentation I needed to give him. We worked by phone and email, and we never had to meet in person.

Working with Andy has been a good experience. He handled everything quickly and kept me well informed through the process. Everyone he had recommended to assist with other items was as well. Would definitely recommend Andy and CIMG.

Andy Law at CIMG is the best of the best. He did a fantastic job on the loan for me and my wife when we bought our new home. Having been a REALTOR for over ten years, I have had the chance to work with almost every loan officer in the Triangle. There is no one that comes close to the high level of professionalism Andy embodies. But more than that, he is the kind of guy I know I can trust to do the right thing for my buyers every single time. I whole-heartedly recommend him.

IN SUMMARY: My refi paperwork twice included fee increases that were not disclosed up front, and which I had to find on my own by reviewing the documents. I dealt with a continually changing story from the mortgage agent. I had obtained my original home loan from Erika Griffin, so when I was looking into a refi, I contacted her again. I of course also contacted other companies for comparison, and passed one of the quotes to CIMG. At first, she mentioned how she knew the owners of the competing company, and said she could match the offer plus offer a $200 discount. When I received the first itemized fee worksheet, I noticed that the $200 discount was not listed anywhere, and no mention was made of this change. When I asked about it, Ms. Griffin then backpedaled, stating how she didn't realize that there was an additional credit in the competitor's offer, and so she could not give me the additional $200 discount as originally stated. She also then went on to try and discredit the competing company, calling them "unknown" and "internet based business"--all this after stating that she knew the owners previously. I was a little suspicious at this point due to this and the fact that it felt she was trying to hide changes in her original statements. However, I decided to proceed; their fees were still lower and I had already done business with them in the past. But when I received the next set of paperwork, I then found out that Ms. Griffin had changed the fees yet again without notifying me! When I asked her about it, she indicated that she was confused by the competitor's offer, and so had to revise her paperwork to match yet again. I had already noticed the appraisal fees that she was confused by, so I was surprised that she was not aware of it, but more importantly, lost my trust with her. At this point, I decided I could no longer trust this company. I had found two consecutive hidden changes to my fees, witnessed sloppiness in reviewing a competitive offer, and heard some F-U-D comments about a company she personally stated she knew. I would not have minded the fee changes if Ms. Griffin had been up front about them, but the fact that she tried to slip them in and that I had to find them on my own was such a dishonest tactic that I refused to continue with the refi. To the end, Ms. Griffin tried to blame the other company for being misleading, and in no way took any responsibility for her deceptiveness. I would beware with dealing with this company. I now regret referring CIMG to my coworkers and hope that they did not find
