Al's Garage always does an excellent job, but their rates were more than I could afford given I have two very old vehicles that continued to break down. I've since found an equally excellent more affordable mechanic near my home. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this garage. Definitely top drawer in every way.

I'm a big fan of this company. I've gone to them for probably 25 years and I have always liked them. They're very honest. They always check with you immediately when they find out how much the job is going to cost. I've never had to go back to have my car fixed for the same thing twice.

Friendly staff and willing to look at daughter's Jeep. Did service quickly and professionally. Said they were just starting to service Jeep vehicles but after looking at our 2nd hand-er, much of the work was listed as not able to be done. So they recommended next steps. So a "B" score for not being able to provide entire service required but would take other vehicles there after confirming they could do all work required.

Work was done in one or two hours. They identified the problem that triggered the engine light - a clicking noise. They changed the oil and told me to check it periodically between now and the next oil change.

The air conditioning on my daughter's car suddenly stopped working, en route to shop for a wedding dress. The following day, the car was still able to start , but the radio had stopped working at that point as well. Finally on the third day, the car would not start except when she was using jumper cables. As soon as the cables were removed, the car would no longer go into gear and stalled quickly. I had the car towed to Al's Garage, and asked them to call me when they knew more, thinking it was the alternator. About an hour later, the garage called and said that when they opened the hood, the first thing they noticed was that the serpentine belt was missing! They didn't know if that was the only thing wrong, but it was a start. They obtained the needed belt, installed it, charged the battery, and got the car going. They then checked the battery after two hours and found that it was holding the charge. They also checked the alternator and the rest of the car's electrical system, pronounced the car "healthy", and sent my daughter on her way at exactly the price they had quoted when they informed me that the serpentine belt was gone.

Al's garage is the best! They are expert, efficient and super honest. Al is an invaluable source of great car care advice. He and his team kept my car running for years and then told me the straight truth --and why-- when they thought it was time to let it go rather than proceeding with scheduled repairs. They make it easy to take care of your vehicle by sending reminders when it's time for a scheduled maintenance. I have the greatest respect for this garage. Working with them is a pleasure.

The guys at Al's Garage are AWESOME. I've been going to them for almost six years now. They always take the time to explain what is wrong, what caused the problem, why its important to fix it---and best of all, NEVER talk in a way that makes me feel stupid for not understanding 'car stuff'. Every time I pick my car up from them, I leave feeling safer, smarter and actually cared about. THEY ROCK!

I went a week early and got an education from AL. He outlined my options, told me the cost of various approaches, encouraged me to do my research on prior service.... really basically held my hand. The next week, I called the day before and they got me in for servicing. The car was ready when they said it would be and I had a really nice chat with Big AL. I feel like they are a very trustworthy and efficient shop and plan on going back as a repeat customer.

Called to schedule appointment. Al seemed a bit unfriendly on the phone, but was very accomodating in scheduling a repair time. Repair was as estimated. No surprises. He didn't try to sell me other unnecessary services like other car repair shops. Seems to know his stuff and to be very competent. An ASE Master Mechanic performed the work. Despite his seemingly unfriendliness at first, I am comfortable using him and will do so in the future.

Al has been my mechanic for years and I (who know next to nothing about auto mechanics) trust him completely and without rerserve! He has always been completely honest and fair with me, and he's a crackerjack mechanic!

I have been using their services for about ten years. They are excellent. they are honest and proficient. They work at an appropriate pace. I have been extremely satisfied with their service.

Al's Garage has been my mechanic for 20 years. They may be a little pricey however they do an excellent job. They are very honest about their work. I had rather pay a little more and get good overall service. They are excellent at recommendations and have dedicated follow-up.

They were excellent. I called to find out if they could do this work, since I am unhappy with the local Toyota dealer. Al's Garage did exactly as they said they would, below the price they quoted, and on the day I left the car. I had taken my Honda in for service, and they did that well.
