They do a great job and I totally trust them. We have been going here for over twenty years. We have bought refurbished Mercedes from them before. They are only do what is necessary, but they pay attention and really check out the car. We have never felt that they have done anything that didn't have to be done. We have always been pleased with the services they provide.

They are fantastic. They are extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly. They would tell you if I can do the work or if there is something else they need to do. If they need any parts, they let know. If it is a very long thing which is something at their end, they give you a loaner car for free. They are very good to us. We are using them for 15 years at least.

We have been using them for about 12 years. I am very happy with them. They are fast, price is reasonable and they are friendly. They do have a loaner car if you need it. If we call and say we have a problem, they will get us in right away. It is ready when they say it will be.

ABW has brought my 1974 450SL into great working condition. Top quality
all the way. They take the time to analyze and explain the issues and
make certain that you understand what needs to be done...and what
doesn't. Price quoted is for mulitiple visits carrying out a

This is definitely the place to go for all your service needs on your new(er) or classic Mercedes and are within reasonable driving distance. This last visit was like many of the preceding ones, they performed the work as expected and consulted with me on my "please investigate why my AC is not working properly" before they proceeded to fix the issue. Mercedes are not cheap once they start requiring some TLC, but ABW definitely beats going to the dealership.

My family has been working with Max and ABW for years. When a German Car shop in VA Beach suggested over $3,000 in repair work to my well-maintained car, I drove 3 hours to ABW to get a second opinion. Most of the work the other shop suggested was bogus. Max fixed the few things I needed done. He and his team are professional and honest. I'll drive to him from any place I live if I can!

I have used A Better Wrench for several years and have found their work ethic to be exceptionally honest and fair in their pricing. All members of the team from the owner Max, the service manager Darrin, and the mechanics are most pleasant and always professional.

As usual, ABW performed excellent service. Cameron talked with me at length about what was to be done, they did the work, and they charged a reasonable price for it. That's exactly what I expected -- I've been going there for many years -- and exactly how it works time and time again!

They were fabulous to work with. They were able to complete work on my older BMW that other providers told me could not be completed. Everything turned out very well. They were very thorough and easy to work with.

I went to two other auto services in which they told me that I would need all new brakes. I went to A Better Wrench and they found that I had a leak in my brake line and fixed it rather quickly. I went from a $600 job to a $60 job by going with A Better Wrench. They are a very professional and honest group and fixed the problem.

They provide good cars and great folks. Their pricing is fairly good and provide good service.

They service Mercedes and not every shop around specializes Mercedes, but they do. I am happy with them and they are the ones that are closer to me and I prefer them. Their price is good.

I have used Better Wrench for about 10 years now and keep coming back. They always do a great job. If they can not fix something, they tell you so and help you to find others who can finish the job. They are always willing to explain what needs to be done and why and will follow your instructions for getting all or part of the job done. They know very well the difference between safety and wanted luxury, and will work with you to strike the right balance. When they are busy, it takes longer sometimes, but the quality of the work and that it is done correctly is what keeps me coming back.

This was simply one of numerous services performed by this company we have been trading with for over 20 years now. I feel like an entry on Angies list is long overdue. They specialize in servicing Mercedes Benz automobiles and provide consistently efficient service and repair services at reasonable prices. This is a unique company because of the warmth and personal touch one encounters from the first visit. Their years of experience with these particular automobiles is evident in everything they do and allows the right repair to be completed at the lowest possible cost. I daresay their service writers are as knowledgeable as they come and on more than one occasion, have diagnosed a problem over the phone that has allowed me to fix a minor problem myself or at least guide me as to the potential seriousness of the symptoms I describe so that I might take appropriate action in a timely manner.

This is a very honest company and I had no problems with them during this visit or any other for that matter. They are very good and their charges are very reasonable as well. I trust them as a company and I do not feel that they would over charge me. They seem to be honest and good working mechanics. I have no complaints at all. I would recommend them and I would hire them again.
