Description of Work: We contacted Brian, the owner of this "company" to have stamped concrete done in our back yard. There was an ad which showed his work so we assumed he knew it well. This eventually led to him offering to do it in brick pavers since this was a look we were looking for. From the very beginning his workers obviously had no idea what they were doing. We found out later that Brian ordered the wrong size pavers and was laying them in plain sand. I had to be taken out and redone three times. He assured us that this was quite normal. We, unfortunately, we not well informed and went along with this hoax. After four days they "finished" the project and we stupidly paid for it. Then the first rain came and our patio was gone. He came and had it marginally fixed that time but told us it was our problem because we didn't have plants around the patio yet(?!). Then the next rain came and Island Landscaping was gone. We tried to get him out here but never could do so. About a month later we had to hire a real brick mason and have it all done correctly. DO NOT use this company!

 + -1 moreI'm The company was hired by my homebuilder to do the landscaping. I had the house built and the builder had all his own contractors. They laid the sod and did the sprinklers, but when they laid the sod they didn't pack the ground first so after a week several divots and low spots formed. Also, the sprinklers that they installed didn't provide full coverage of the lawn! I told the builder and he contacted the owner who came out when I wasn't home and said it had adequate coverage. BUT, I had patches of dead grass underneath the sprinkler stream! So I had him come back out and this time I was home to show him. After some convincing he did realize that it wasn't providing adequate coverage so he sent a team out a few days later to remove a sprinkler down the line so that the others sprinklers had more pressure. It wasn't what we had discussed when we talked and there was no communication about the change. So, I still have poor coverage around the edges of the lawn and I'm not using them again.
Description of Work: Laid the sod and installed the sprinklers during home construction.
