Great service, Derek was great to talk to and explained everything. They were very flexible and worked hard to get our windows and doors installed quickly and everything looks beautiful!

From first meeting with Derek Harts. Went as promised and better. Derek was very descriptive in work that would be performed and was spot on. Kept up with progress and work quality. They even took care of disposal of unrelated spoil material. 2nd generation Installer/craftsmen, Anthony Clapper, Mr. John Clapper, and Dennis delivered a clean and well done job. Fit and finish very good. Kept the job site clean everyday and covered material before they left each day. Met with Anthony before they had contracted, going over how job would be done. They delivered. Would not hesitate to deal with again. All of the above are people of faith, honest, polite and conscientious about their craft. Well done .

Derek Hart is WITHOUT A DOUBT the most honest, dedicated and professional businessman I have ever come across. I spent 31 years in the Marine Corps, so professionalism, knowledge and dedication are an ABSOLUTE MUST for me when the infrequent occasion arises that I have to hire someone for a home improvement project. As installing windows from scratch was a bit outside my areas of proficiency, I knew I needed help, so after a quick online search here (and in a few other venues) I left Derek a message. Within a day he had not only returned my call, but had scheduled a time to come to my home in Jacksonville. I was immediately impressed by his knowledge and professionalism, but far more noteworthy was his demeanor; genuine, quiet and replete with reserved humility. Long story short – I willingly (and quickly) signed a contract with him and ALL WORK was completed within the timeline he provided that first day. Throughout the entire cradle-to-grave process he kept me abreast of any and all relevant information and at NO TIME did I begin to lose faith in him or begin to second-guess my decision. Additionally, the folks he has working for him were just as humble, knowledgeable, professional, thorough, personable and honest as he is. Derek Hart is that very rare breed of man these days; not only is he very, very good at what he does, but his is a genuinely nice person. I will definitely be hiring him again for other home improvement projects. Call him and you will immediately understand why I think so very highly of him.

Initially impressed with reviews of Mr. Harts and his crew. They did not disappoint in any respect. Derek Harts did all of the measuring and addressed our concerns. Mr. Hart’s kept us updated on the progress of our bow window (built for our space). He called us when the window arrived, but the stormy weather was not cooperative. Checked in with us until the rain let up and then scheduled the removal of our old bow window and the installation of our beautiful new window! Mr. Harts and his crew were very prompt, patient with ALL of our questions, very knowledgeable/professional, all measurements were correct the first time, extremely heavy window. This time the big bow window was installed correctly with overhead cable supports and shield from top of window up to sealed soffit. I hosed it down with strongest stream from garden hose to simulate hurricane force, and not one drop of water was observed inside. There was some rot from where the old window had been leaking and they removed the siding from below the window and replaced the rotten wood and reinstalled the siding. The first thing we noticed was that we could stand in front of our bow window and not feel the heat from the sun that kept us from using this space! We would not hesitate to use them again, worth every penny!!!!

Mr. Hart promptly came and gave an estimate to remove and replace damaged vinyl siding on one side of the house. The work was scheduled for the following week and completed right on time. The new siding looks great and all debris was hauled away. Both Mr. Hart and the siding team were professional and good to work with.

New windows installed March 2019, siding replaced May 2019, gutters replaced/facia & soffit repair August 2019 and new roofing installed April 2020 at daughter's house in NC. Derek Harts (owner) worked well with me even though I was in another state (KY). Fair price and professional work. Pleasure working with Derek and his crews. Highly recommend.

Derek Hart of Harts Roofing and Windows got back to me within hours of me putting in my request through Angie's List on a late Saturday afternoon. He came out to give me a quote the following Monday and explained all of my options as far as windows and pricing goes. He was very informative, friendly, and professional. When it came time to install the windows, the crew of two did an awesome job. They were very punctual, detail-oriented, and respectful. The job was completed within 2 days and turned out amazing. My windows are now fully functional, energy efficient, and look great! I will definitely be going through Harts Roofing and Windows when it comes time to replace the last 4 original windows in the house and the roof. 10/10 would recommend.

Repairs went better than expected. Fair Price, Excellent Workmanship, and installers could have not been better. Job completed as scheduled. Detail work was spot on. They were excellent. I was very pleased with them. They were very professional. They were on time. It was a good price. They cleaned up very well. The guy who did the work was very courteous.

From the moment of first contact to the final payment, every part of the process was smooth. They were very responsive and kept me up to date every step of the way.

I called Mr Harts on Monday 9/9/2019 to give me an estimate on a leak in my bathroom around the exhaust fan. Awesome service Mr Harts was here on Tuesday 9/10/2019 and inspected the area. There was no leak just wind sheer from Hurricane Dorian. I am very relieved there is no leak. Mr Harts went above and beyond his job by inspecting the entire area. He did not charge for the inspection.

I love my windows. They look great. One of the sashes broke and the window would not stay up. I called Mr. Harts, he promptly came to fixed at no charge. He also did my roof after the hurricane. Again the roof looks great. The installers were courteous and they cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend Harts Roofing and Windows and I will be using them again.

Beyond awful. We and our neighbors signed a contract in late September for new metal roofs. Mr Hart told us he was working 4-6 weeks out. It is now January 7 and neither of us has a roof. Instead we have had to replace tarps four times and have suffered additional interior damage to both of our homes. Mr Hart has continually changed dates for completion of the work. When pressed after repeated attempts to contact him with no response, he had all of the ordered aluminum roofing dumped on our front lawns so that neither of us can park in our front yards. The promise at the delivery was that the roof would be put up in one week. Our neighbor’s roofing materials were actually partially left on the street creating a traffic hazard. We have tried to contact other metal roofers to complete the job, but until Mr Hart releases both couples from our contracts no other roofer will take on the job. Mr Hart pleads that he has lost his roofing crews. For this I am sorry. However, in the meantime we have been almost four months without a roof and now suffering damage not only to the interior of our homes due to the continued rains, but also to our lawns and irrigation systems on top of which the materials sit. I trust Angie’s List implicitly and know you will help us in resolving this nightmare.

derek was amazing from start to finish.. job was performed when he said he would and when I wasn't available to check on the finished product , he sent me pictures.. he is the best of the best....

We had a very large picture window and 4 bedroom windows replaced. I called for a quote and received that quote that evening. Installation crew were very considerate of our new carpet and cleaned as they worked.They also repaired some loose roof tiles for us. I would definitely reccomend this company!

I can’t say enough about the flawless experience I had dealing with Harts Roofing & Windows. Derek Harts was prompt, courteous, and informative when he came to give a detailed estimate and describe his Simonton windows. After my decision was made, the windows were promptly ordered and delivered within two weeks. His installation father-son team, John and Anthony, arrived on time on a very hot Southport day and had 16 old windows removed and the new ones set in place by 9:30 AM so the house remained cool. Their experience and work ethic was evident throughout the installation process. Installation was completed by the afternoon with no mess, no fuss, and complete attention to detail. I am so very pleased with the quality of the windows and the incredible job by Anthony and John. I highly recommend Derek Hart’s and his company.

Great responsiveness. Derek was precisely on time when asked to give estimates. He was quick and thorough. Most important, he never promised more than he could deliver. He told us exactly how long it would take to manufacture our windows and when we could expect installation. The installations went very smoothly, thanks to his excellent installation crew who were prompt, professional and cleaned up well after the work.
