Kevin Allen Painting

Kevin Allen is a compulsive liar, arrogate and cocky. He was suppose to stain our boat dock months ago and he gave us nothing but lie after lie. I got an email from someone from his company that said the deck boards needed to cure more. Then when I called him about it, he said that was a lie and the real reason they didn't start was because there was a paint shortage. He said if I could find the specific stain he recommended we use, that he would go and pick it up and get started. An hour later I found multiple Sherwin Williams locations that had it. Then he sent me a picture message of him picking it up, only to go and use it for another job. Months later he says "ok we are ready to start now", giving him the benefit of the doubt, I agreed, but only if he actually was going to start on the date he promised. He had someone come and power wash, but then never followed up with staining it (which defeated the purpose). He also stopped answering my phone calls and his phone mail box is full do you can only text him. Of course the only time he texts me right back is when he had the audacity to try and charge me for the power washing job. A job that I'll need to pay for again right before the stain is applied. This guy is filled with lies and empty promises. BUYER BEWARE!

Terrible! We had used him to paint our great room and did a great job but a little expensive. So we needed our exterior of home painted. We got a quote and we agreed on price, had a seem legitimate contract, gave 1/2 down in check-cashed ASAP. We agreed to paint in spring I.e. March/April. Then Coronavirus hit so we were ok on waiting until June then I’d be done remotely school working. Then the text popped back up around August-Still no completion. Finally got power washed in October but still no painting completed. He took a large chunk of $ and gone!!!! We were taken. Never use.

Absolutely horrible! Total scam artist who will take you money & not complete the job. Does not return calls or text. Save yourself the disappointment & frustration and do not hire him. Horrible rating on yelp & with the BBB.

After coming out and completing 1/2 of the project and collecting 3/4 of the money he disappeared and walked off the job. This guy is a scam artist. Starts a job, collects enough money and then he walks. Multiple times he promised one thing and NEVER followed up on his word. During this project there were so many excuses why he could not come out, why only one guy would show up, why he needed more time. We were quoted 2 weeks but he left the job 1/2 done after week 4! If he had had the 4-5 man crew they started with here more than a few days he would have completed the project in time. Multiple attempts, meeting times made, scheduled to connect with him to settle up the extra we paid before he left the project. All of they were left with him not showing up. I ended up going to court and the judge ruled in my favor. I would HIGHLY recommend you NEVER EVER work with Roy Kevin Allen Painting.... he is the worst of the worst.

He quickly took 50% of the job up front, cashed the check within an hour. And took weeks to even pressure wash our house and has ran off with the rest of the money. No other services were done and he has promised over and over again to either show up or give us money back. Absolutely horrible in every way. Do not waste your time, money or energy on him.

I was attempting to hire Kevin Allen to do some siding repair and carpentry work. He no called, no showed. When someone else recommended him, I stated my personal experience with him that he "no called, no showed" me. He then proceeded to make false accusations about me in a malicious attempt to get me fired from my place of employment. I have since contacted an attorney on dealing with this individual. At this time I can emphatically NOT recommend Kevin Allen painting, and I encourage others to follow my lead.

Did not complete the contact- Took homeowners money- failed to pay subs for labor or supplies- Owes 2850.00 to homeowner, and 5500.00 to subs. Police report has been filed- Taking action on company. Do not hire.
