This is a vacation home and we were not able to be there during the construction. Contractor provided excellent communication with pictures as we proceeded through the work. We were able to make decisions effectively regarding required scope modifications without being on site.  

Project went very well. High quality work with very tight finishes with absolutely no homeowner supervision. Complete and thorough clean up. Very professional job. 

For someone like us living 350 miles from our mountain home, a relationship with a quality contractor that you trust is a very important service and Home Services has clearly earned our respect. 

We have 2 houses on VRBO- we live in Baltimore, the houses are in Cashiers. Problems: obvious. We cannot be there to handle all the issues that come up...even if we had the expertise which we don't! I call Craig my "magic man" because I seriously don't think there's anything he cannot handle. The company has done everything from putting up heavy Daybed porch swings, to painting, to constructing a stair rail, to putting in a completely new bathroom to installing on a new roof. They always deliver & show up when they say they will. They're just the best, hands down. Am I a fan? You better believe it!

Buck Walters and his employees were extremely easy to work with. So accommodating. Very helpful with making the many decisions necessary and most of them were made long distance from NC to GA. Buck would send me pictures and videos along the way to update the progress. I have had so many compliments on the work that was done. Couldn't have been more pleased with their work.

Everything from start to finish has been top quality. I feel bad putting Home Services of Cashiers in the handyman category, as you could check off so many other things on Angie's List. Buck is considered one of THE top quality builders in the area, they are completely reliable, they always show up on time and do what they say they will. And this I love...I feel completely comfortable having them in the house when I'm not there(which is most of the time). Honestly, I don't know what we would do without them.
I was a little nervous when they hung this super heavy daybed swing on the screened porch - it was the first thing they ever did for us. I mean, the last thing you want is for it to come crashing down. But they installed extra beams up above to make sure it was stable, stained them the exact color of the ceiling...it looked like it had always been there, and we love that thing!
Because we rent this house to vacationers all year, it is really important to have someone good you can call, when something goes wrong at the house...and we do!

Mr. Walters prepared a detailed list with architectural drawings with pricing and materials for the entire project. Mr. Walters and his men were both very courteous and prompt. The addition took approximately six weeks and finished timely. I would recommend his company for any work and will use him in future work on my home.
