Contacted James on referral from my sister who had recently used him for her roof replacement.my sister's roof claim had been denied through her insurance company however several other homes had their roofs replaced all around hers. Her neighbor recommended James Ortega owner of Tru Relief, whom he has known personally and does good work. She called him and he met with the adjuster and walked the roof with him noting the damage. The new roof was approved and went up. She was very pleased with his work. She recommended that I check with James re: my roof as we had several storms as well. I called and he came to inspect while I was at work as I had requested. He called me and let me know that I also needed a roof. I had recently changed insurance companies so I was afraid that the new company would deny a claim. James explained to me that this damage was two years old so I would need to go back to previous insurer I had for the previous 15 yrs. I was unsure about how to do this so he offered to come and help me. We set appt he called the company and together we filed the claim. He met the adjuster on site and they agreed. Adjuster wrote up the claim that day and I had a check for the first part of the payment. I signed contract with Tru Relief after also checking with three companies on Angies List, as I am a cautious buyer and wanted to be sure I knew what was included in the price from all of the companies. It was all the same!
So I went with James because he helped me so much upfront not even knowing that he would be sure to get the business. He truly is a remarkable man. The customer service kept on coming!! I could not make up my mind as to which color, brand shingle I wanted. He came to my home at least 4 more times with more samples. I apologized to him that I was so much work! His words were" I don't care if I have to come here 30 times, I want you to be happy". Who says that these days? Who DOES THAT ??!! He actually helped me to choose and in the end I could not be more pleased. He really knows his stuff. The colors in the shingles tie all the color in my brick and accents perfectly. His crew arrived early in the morning and did an amazing job with 42 sq of roof! 8-9 guys were all over the roof. They cleaned up as they went and when they finished I went to look for any nails etc since I have dogs and couldn't find a one!! It looked like they had never been here! I did ask him why he wasn't active on Angie's list and he said that he stays so busy with customer referrals he hasn't needed to. I have already given him 5 referrals and 2 of them have new roofs already with James. They too are pleased.
I just cannot say enough great things about him, but to sum it up, I'd say, "James sets the bar very high, then he exceeds it and just dazzles his customers!"

TruRelief was in the neighborhood doing other jobs when they came to our house looking to see if we needed our roof replaced.  We had storm damage from high winds and hail.  The insurance paid for everything and TruRelief was there to assist in anyway necessary.  They had a great crew out there...the job was done in a day.  I am happy to give an excellent recommendation to TruRelief!

This company is top notch. They did an exceptional job installing our new roof.

They were right down the street installing a roof for a neighbor. So we went down to check it out. He said he was installing a roof due to wind and hail damage and would be glad to check ours as well. The owner himself checked our roof for wind and hail damage that may have occured the previous April 2011. We did indeed have damage. They were right here with us through the whole process of contacting the insurance company. They came out when the insurance adjustor came to inspect the damage. They dropped off samples of different colors of shingles for us to pick from, suggesting a nice color that went well with the exterior of our house.

The day of the work, the crew showed up timely and were very professional. The owner, James, came by and spent the better part of the day with us, overseeing the job as it was in progress. The workmanship is top notch. They did a great job of cleanup.

We can't thank them enough. We would surely recommend them to anyone else who needs a quality roofing company.
