Tint World - Cary

Ray (manager) and Keith (technician) were extremely personable and professional. Quote over the phone, job down on-time and quickly. Keith gave a great orientation after completion. Ray showed me all the amazing services they have. I'll be coming back for sure, and will give my son a gift card to this place for his birthday! Fortunate to have one of only 85 stores nationwide right here in Cary!

Job was well done but pretty much twisted my arm and scared the **** out of me I being new to the city succumbed. More than 50% of cars in state are way over legal limit . There was absolutely no need for me to chnage since my inspection had passed .he sai cops pull you over and make you take off the tint then and there which was an outright lie which I verified at the morrsivile police station. Bunch o f thugs

It went well, there was an initial hiccup about appointment time when I showed up but it was quickly resolved. The prices seem very high especially when the Florida location does the work for $200 less but at least your tint is backed by a decent warranty and a company with multiple locations.

While they did a great job cleaning my vehicle I will never take my vehicle there again. They chipped a big chunk of paint on my SUV, down to the base paint, didn't tell me but it was very obvious. Randy, the owner, said to get an estimate and he'd take care of it. After he received the estimate he changed his story and refused to pay. I had to file it on my insurance. My insurance company is going after him for the money. He is not a man of his word.

I called Tint World in Cary to ask about tinting,  Kyle gave me a very explanation of what was available.  We stopped in later that evening and Kyle shared his info for me and my wife again.  My wife was happy with the price and the tinting, so we scheduled to bring the car in the next morning.  Took the car in Saturday morning around 9 am and was on my way out by 9:35.  So far the windows look great.  We are letting them dry and will check them again when the rain is gone.  The owner was there on Saturday morning.  He is nice, but I think he is from New York.  Some people can't handle personalities from NY and tend to label them as mean, or arrogant.  Having lived in NJ, I was not bothered by his mannerisms at all.  

It was a Groupon. They did a fairly good job and the car was fairly clean. They called and asked if I wanted additional services. They let me know when things were done. They will try to add additional services. They had certain hours posted but they really wanted me to pick up the car earlier because they wanted to go home. They were friendly. They had people on staff that could also do audio installations but when I got there, there was no one there to answer questions on that. It wasn't perfect but they got the work done. It was pretty good and they were friendly enough. The price I had was good because it was a special deal but I think their prices would probably be a little high on other stuff. They were very responsive.

Terrible horrible experience.  Had my windows tinted and they let the water solution run all over my leather seats and between the glass and the 3rd brake light. The "manager" on duty got clearly annoyed with us when we asked them to clean it up. We had to return because one of the windows had bubbled and then we found out they had put a different tint in then what they invoiced us for. When I told the owner about our bad experience he basically shrugged his shoulders. Quality is obviously not something they care about.

First let me note that Maynard Road is in CARY, not Raleigh/ Durham.
These guys do a terrific job !  My 10 year old car looked 10 years old...... after they washed/cleaned/waxed it, the paint  looked  like I had just driven the car out of the showroom !!    And the interior was spic and span.......

The appointment for the detailing was scheduled for the day before the tinting. Unlike all other details I have had, they blasted the car with a power washer. The pressure stripped and bubbled paint and clear coat off the acrylic bumper of my Toyota Camry, They blamed it on a a poor prior paint job on the bumper (it was repaired more than a year ago and has been detailed twice since with zero damage) and refused to admit responsibility. They also refused to refund the money I paid for the detail, referring me to Groupon for the refund. This experience was  a nightmare of fast-talking excuses and defensive accusations. I canceled the tint job, as I will now need the money to have the finish of the car repaired myself. I would like to warn other potential customers that this company does not stand behind its products and services.

I dropped my car off around 10 am on a saturday and told them I wanted the darkest legal tint applied. I had purchased a Groupon for $100 off tint and a $30 car detail. The regular price was $350 for tint, so this brought the total to $286. I left my car there, they called me around 3pm when it was finished. The car looked terrific, they did a very thorough job with the detail. The tint also shaped up after a few days of drying. It looks like a whole new car!! But there were a few air bubbles on the back right window that did not sort themselves out, and I will be returning this weekend to have it fixed. Overall a good experience.
