Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry

Everyone seemed to be knowledgeable. The problem is the endless charging of fees, like paying a few hundred dollars after seeing the dentist to see a specialist in a separate appointment that doesn't even last 5 minutes, or needing special x-rays that insurance doesn't cover, or being charged consultation fees on multiple visits for the same single procedure. These people are rapacious.

It was fast and painful. Now my crown blends with my natural tooth color.

Everyone from the moment I walked in the door was friendly and thorough. After I filled out paperwork, I waited no more than 2 minutes to be called back. The hygienist explained everything she did throughout my cleaning and answered any questions I had. They were fantastic!

The tooth pulling procedure went well. The assistant in attendance did an especially good job reassuring me when things got rough. Since then, I have switched to Riccobene as my regular dentist and have been going there for 2 years. Very happy with them. Top notch!

I had a routine cleaning and exam with X-rays two days ago. The staff members were uniformly friendly and professional. Tabitha, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth, was skilled and capable. She did a very thorough job (I hadn't been to a dentist in a while and there was a fair amount of plaque to remove) but did it gently and with sensitivity to my comfort. She's the reason I was willing to schedule another cleaning in six months rather than holding out as long as my conscience would allow before submitting again to the process. I still don't care for the process of having my teeth cleaned, but I'd rather have Tabitha do it than anyone else who has done it of the many cleanings I've had over my lifetime. The dentist (whose name, I'm sorry to say, I don't recall) was also quite pleasant and professional. He seemed to know what he was doing as he poked and prodded in my mouth and he had a good explanation about the minor potential problem he found, to be corrected by one filling. I've gone to many dentists, including a couple in the large chain (whose name I won't say, though it rhymes with "chain" and follows "stay in your ...") that seems to have limited quality control on the work of their ever-revolving staff. Riccobene Associates wasn't like that. I sensed a higher quality of work and care there and I'll be going back.

Both times were quick and painless. The office is warm and inviting.

My husband and I both see them and we had really good experiences with them they do great work. He said that everything went well with the procedure as well as it can?with the root canal so I would say he did not seem to experience any unusual discomfort after that.

Was great.  My only complaint is there was paging speakers in the treatment room (I assume all rooms had the same) and the paging was quite loud and a bit annoying.

The office is very nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful, The practice offers free coffee and water in the waiting room. They were running about 15 minutes late for my 12:00 appointment. They apologized for the delay, and took me back to one of several treatment rooms. I saw Dr. Davis, who reexamined the filling, explained the procedure, and answered all my questions. It only took about 30 minutes to complete the procedure, and I was on my way. The cost was the same as the estimate I had been given the previous week. I would recommend this Dentist to family and friends.

I have just changed dentist, because my previous dentist -- the administrative department was consistently overcharging me.

My previous dentist (Brixxxx Smixxxx) I would always ask do I owe anything after each visit, and they would always say no. At the end of the year they will mail me a huge bill. (I have 2 insurances)

I did not have this problem with Riccobene. And it's been a year now since I have been with Riccobene.

I needed a root canal.  They referred me to their In house Endodonist in Garner.  But Angies List and Health Grades gave that office bad reviews.  Instead I choose to go to Dr K Johnson at Brier Creek in Raleigh.  He was amazing.  I have had 3 prior root canals by two different Endodnist in the past, but Dr Johnson was superior to any of them.  Although he was out of network for me, I would return to him again.

It went very well in all the aspects of the appointment. I would recommend them.
