+ -1 morePulte sales rep misinformed me of their process. Told me to get my loan commitment to them and they would file for a permit to build. They didn't do that. Weeks later, they told me they weren't going to file for a permit until all the homes in a particular block were sold. I was not willing to wait that long, during a recession and slow housing market. Pulte refused to give me back my $5,000 even though I had documented e-mails from me clearly outling the deceptions. I have built 3 other homes in the past, 2 with Ryland, 1 with Gehan and now the next is with Standard Pacific. In addition Pulte treated me unprofessionally and denied any wrong doing, even after reviewing the e-mails. I had two people with me during the selling process and the witnessed everything.
Description of Work: Pulte and I went under contract to build a home in Morrisville, NC.
