I took my dog here to get an x-ray because he was limping. Dr. Rosenoff, the owner of Noah's Ark, was our vet. He took the x-ray of my dog's leg and said that it was not broken and probably was just a soft tissue injury. I took my dog to another vet 3 weeks later because he was still limping, and because Dr. Rosenoff's bedside manner was terrible. (My dog is afraid of the vet and Dr. Rosenoff finds that "irritating"). The second vet looked at the x-rays from Noah's Ark and she said that she immediately saw that my dog's leg was broken. (She looked at the x-rays before I got there). She said she couldn't believe he missed this. She called it an "elementary mistake" and said that even a graduate student should have seen it. She recommended that I report his negligence to the Veterinary Medical Board. I am in the process of doing that now. I also asked Dr. Rosenoff for a refund, considering he misdiagnosed my dog and caused him to walk around on a broken leg for three weeks, and I had to get another set of x-rays to assess what further damage was caused from him not receiving proper treatment to start with. Dr. Rosenoff refused to give me any money back.

This was the first time we saw the vet.  He then referred us to a surgeon - an orthopedic surgeon.  He's good with our animals; I can't say my animals are good with him.  We had to put the cone of shame on him to bring him in to the vet; you know, the old e-collar.  But he's very patient with my dogs.

He has to put up with the dog, so he deserves an A across the board.  He's a little hard to handle, especially when they're 100 pounds; not exactly a lap dog.   They are very attentive, very responsive, and very caring.  I've used them multiple times.

They are usually very good. Dr. Margaret is just wonderful!  Scheduling an appointment is no problem.

This is a small but well run practice with 2 veterinarians on staff. They take the time to know their patients. Several of the vet techs have also been with the practice for years. They are all so compassionate and patient. I feel like they explain everything very thoroughly. Plus they really try to help the client stay within a budget. Over the years we have had several illnesses, etc. In every instance, we felt the vets went above and beyond in caring for our pets.

As usual, this trip was great. She is nearly 8 years old now, and she is doing well, the doctor commented that her weight was great, and we received an email message that her heartworm test was fine, as well as for intestinal parasites. She has an awful allergy problem, and was referred to NCSU last year. She has been doing much better, but has had a recent flair...Dr. Rosanoff advised me what to do, and she is already getting better. She also had to get her nails clipped, and she HATES this, They get a couple of their people to hold her comfortably, along with me at her face, and it goes as well as it possibly could. She received her rabies vaccine, no issues. She received a bordatella vaccine, no issues. She also had to have her blood drawn to check for heartworms, and she did just great, they got the blood out QUICKLY. I also bought 6 months of heartworm preventative, and 6 months of flea preventative. We scheduled her for boarding and they moved stuff around so that she would have a space. They even offered her a VEGETARIAN dog biscuit, which of course she wouldn't eat there...but I took it home and she loved it. She cannot have regular dog biscuits..which she LOVED, so I will definitely be getting some of those!! They have lots of special foods for pets that pet stores do not carry. I would never consider changing vets.

We like it there and we are happy with them. We like the staff there and our dog likes it there, so that's always good fun. The staff is friendly and they take good care of the animals, at least that's been our experience. Our dog is about 7 years old; we have been taking him there for 7 years. I think the price depends on the weight of the dog and how big he is. I think it is $25 for boarding of his size which is about 50 or more pounds. I know that one other place that we looked at was more expensive, so the price seems fairly reasonable to me. We would use them again in the future.

Our 14 yr old cat had lost weight and was always hungry and we suspected she was hyperthyroid. Yup. We've been down this road before with our other cat. They are very gentle with our cats and offer good care without pushing for the most expensive options.
