Scott was recommended to me and I referred him to my client. There were a couple issues but the main one is the stain and polyurethane was unevenly applied to the flooring on the 1st floor. When the owners asked for it to be fixed, the spot became extremely dark and excessive amounts of polyurethane was left bubbled on the floor. It is right in the front room off the entryway and is very noticeable. I asked the contractor to come and take a look and try and fix it, and his response back was that they had "lowballed" the offer, and he did not feel he needed to correct it. Not bothering to meet with the us to address the issue and come to a resolution so that everyone feels compensated is unacceptable.

It went great! Scott was prompt ,friendly ,courteous, and professional. He and his crew did a great job. He is a firefighter and schedules around his long stretches off. The floors look awesome! We only had a minor problem. When the guy was sanding the small bathroom the pedestal sink was cracked. Scott tried to replace it but it wasn't the same size. So he just gave us money off and we bought a new cabinet sink. I would hire Scott back in a heartbeat.

we bought an1987 ranch style house that needed a lot of work and coordination of utilities, painting contractor, carpeting installer, roofer, etc. Holsclaw's Hardwoods worked closely with all these companies and with my schedule to get the flooring installed in the most efficient and convenient manner. I highly recommend this company. The floor is beautiful.

It was a positive experience; they did a good job. They were very responsive and the quality of the work was very good. I definitely would use them in the future.

Scott came to our house and took measurements and gave us a very fair price. He was willing to remove the existing carpet and tile, which was quite an extensive job, at a very reasonable price. Scott purchased the wood and had it delivered to our home so it could get climate adjusted before installation. On day one of the project, Scott was there right on time and began efficiently and carefully removing the existing flooring. Over the next several days, Scott installed beautifully solid oak hardwood flooring and then began the sanding/staining, buffing process. In all, Scott put three coats of stain and protectant on the floor and buffed it to a beautiful sheen. He then put shoe molding throughout and stained that to accent the floor. We were extremely pleased with the quality of Scott's work and would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Scott was prompt, courteous, and his attention to detail was outstanding. We felt that we got a great deal for our money.
