"Great Tarheel Restoration has been in business for over 20 years and has always provided quality work in a timely manner. Upon our first visit to the site, we communicated that we were not getting a response from the tenants upstairs. We made the owner of the lower property aware of this along with the insurance company, as they too had a difficult time reaching the upstairs tenant. While we understand the feelings of frustration that come as a result of another person's plumbing issues affecting this homeowner's property, it really is out of our control. We worked hard to correct the plumbing issue in the property above and acknowledged it did take longer than we would have liked, mainly due to the tenant upstairs being unavailable. Once the problem in the upstairs property was resolved, we repaired the home, working around the owner of the lower units schedule. GTR always tries to repair homes within a time-frame that works best for the home owner. Yes, this home owner had to take time off from work or have another family member meet us during the repair process, but these are unfortunately events that need to take place in order for a contractor to repair a home. GTR, along with other contractors, have to address frustrations while being compassionate of the home owner's situation, but still acknowledge that these feelings come from the situation of being inconvenienced due to another person's plumbing issues."
