From the beginning it was very hard to get in contact with him, he only responded sporadically and most generally only to text. He never came when he said he was coming. He took the engine apart, and left it sitting at work for three weeks. Once he finally came back to finish the job, he had taken parts to be machined without consulting with us first. The car continued to leak. We waited weeks for him to come and look at it again, he would say he was coming and not show up. Several times he told us that he hadn't come because he was in the hospital, but could never show us proof. Once he did come again, whatever he did actually made the leak worse, we had to put in a quart of oil every other fill-up. Everywhere we parked we would leave an oil stain. When he finally came it was only because we threatened legal action. He came and took several things apart,

It started with my having a dead battery that wouldn't even jump. I called Excellent Performance and James came out and put in a new battery. It was way better than having to get it towed. Since that went so well, I let him do all the rest of the work that the car needed.
I recommend James very highly. He's a nice, pleasant young man and does an excellent job. He's very conscientious with his work and makes sure that everything is cleaned up before he leaves. And the price was better than having it all done in a garage. The added bonus is that he comes to you and you don't have to spend the day in a waiting room or have to bother with someone else having to pick you up or drop you off. Also, he is right there and answers any questions you might have and shows you exactly what he's doing.
If anything else goes wrong on my car, I'm calling James.

James is a really good mechanic and he's has really great customer service. His prices are phenomenal.

We've been using James for all of our car needs for well over a year. He continually proves to be a good choice! A kind and friendly person who knows without a doubt what he is doing. He showed up on time and was ready to work. He accurately diagnosed and fixed my car in a timely manner all working with my schedule in mind. I would suggest James to everyone I know who needs car care.
