The owner Phil was supposed to replace floor and cabinets in the kitchen. He took my money for the countertops and then quit the job before putting the order into the counter top company. I ended up having to pay the company so I bought the counters twice and pay again to have them installed. I later looked it up and he had numerous judgments against him as well as a fraudulent contractor license number. I should have done my due diligence. Steer clear.

Immediately after work was completed we notified the owner of loose tiles and grout breaking. He told us that this was not his fault but the fault of the builder, stating our sub floor was poor. We just spent a lot of money with another contractor to replace the floors. We found that although it was in our quote that the original floor would be removed to subfloor East Coast did not remove the original flooring. They placed cement board over existing floor and only nailed it down in a few spots. They did not use any adhesive to attach cement board. They did poor quality work, cut corners and would not correct when we notified them of the issues.
