Earth Artisans & DPS did a great job in completing our backyard better than we imagined. Preston was very helpful with the design, estimation and the DPS team was very transparent with the costs throughout (which was very important to me, to plan our vision accordingly). The entire DPS team were frequently visting the site during the actual work which shows their dedication to their work. The entire crew (lead by Christian) was hardworking from dawn till dusk everyday to complete the project in reasonable time. We will definitely hire them for future services/projects and would also recommend to anyone. They were very open to feedback and were flexible to change course when needed to ultimately do what they customer wants.

We worked with Preston at Earth Artisans on a design for our entire property (front yard, backyard, deck, patio), with an emphasis on solving a drainage problem. Throughout the design phase, Preston listened to what we wanted and also brought his unique ideas to the table. Preston came out to our property several times to visualize things himself and take se measurements. We also met with him several times to iterate through the design process so Preston could make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Together, we created a design that not only solved our problems, but also looked fantastic! He provided a 3D video of what the final product would look like, along with a detailed breakdown and schematics as a PDF. We are very satisfied with the design process and the final product. We also worked with Preston for a â Phase 1â of construction where he coordinated our project with a contracting crew to solve our drainage problem. This project involved turning an unsightly and poorly functioning ditch into a beautiful dry stream bed that would catch all the water running onto our property and direct it away from the house. Preston ran interference between us and the contractors, making sure that their work matched our design. Preston definitely saved us when the crew was underestimating the scale of our water problem. Our new stream bed and usable yard is both gorgeous and functional.

Preston and his crew were great! They did a fantastic job with our project and we’re quick with the work while being very professional. At the beginning of our project, we were still unsure on what we wanted the final design to be. Preston was very helpful in giving us different recommendations. Preston and Crew did a great job on my fence and retaining wall project. Had about 200' of almost 50 year old cedar fencing replaced, and about 80' of old rotten railroad tie retaining wall replaced with Block and Capstone. Preston was helpful with suggestions for the project, like type and color of Block and Capstone for the wall, and using more wind and rot resistant galvanized metal PostMaster fence posts. The finished project looks great, like the quality of the cedar plank, his Crew was hard working getting the old fence and wall removed and new material installed. Happy with the work, my yard looks so much better!

The crew built a beautiful retaining wall, levelled our yard, added new amended soil and sod. They were very attentive to my concerns and willing to go the extra mile to make things perfect. Preston and team were great to work with for my paver patio project! Preston walked us through everything during the initial estimate and provided thoughts and ideas on how to make the project perfect for our yard. Once the project began and minor issues were found, work was stopped until we had a chance to discuss options and make a decision on what worked best for us. Preston even worked with us since we had a connection to get the materials ourselves, they did all of the install and labor. We even added and additional path mid-project and that didn't slow them down! We had a few weather delays but when it was warm enough to work, they were here working, even on the weekends. Project turned out amazing and I would highly recommend Earth Alchemist and Preston to anyone and will definitely use them for any landscape needs in the future!

Preston and his team did an awesome job - the communication was great, the team was always on time, the finished project was exactly what we wanted, and they left everything spotless. We’ve already set up a time to talk about our next project.

Great guys to work with

Prompt response to online request. Great communication and always accessable by phone. I gave Preston an idea of what I wanted to accomplish during my estimate consulatation and the price range I was looking comfortable with. He responded with several options at differing price ranges with line by line totals. This allowed me to pick and choose the things that were most important to me. The finished project was way better than I had imagined and I was extremely pleased with how it turned out based on what limited vision I could provide.at the time of the estimate. Would definetely use again for future projects!

A Natural Bliss was very responsive to my intial request to come out and look at the job. Preston called me immediately and we set up a time for the same day to meet. He clearly knew his business and gave me good advice and input on what I wanted to do. Given it was late in the day that we met, I had a proposal in my email that evening. I hade a few questions and Preston handled all concerns with the proposal to my great satisfaction. Weather became an issue with the timing of the work, but Preston had a team on site on a Sunday to complete the work. They did an excellent job and all trees were planted specifically the way I asked for

With the first project completed with great satisfaction, I am continuing with further landscaping to complete the total look. I LOVE what was done. A real getaway.

Preston paid attention to my answers to his questions about how I wanted my small courtyard done. He took me shopping to pick out the plants and shrubs and we had a great time together. He is very patient and wants his clients to be pleased with the results. The team of men that came in to do the stone work on the patio and other places and to arrange my rock and driftwood collection did an absolutely marvelous job. I am very happy with my blissful courtyard.

The project has not been completed and I will follow up with evaluations when it is done. So far, I was impressed with the timeliness of the initial meeting as I was in a time crunch. I was also very impressed with the turn-aound time to get feedback and an initial plan. I liked the ideas presented and the plant materials submitted so we hired them on the spot. Very professional and responsible and willing to work within our needs for the area and our budget.

For my smaller project I didn't feal like they we're the best fit. For a larger complete landscaping job I'm sure they would do an excellent job but I paid a premium and do not believe I received premium service.

Gina was very professional and followed through to see the project completed. She made sure two concerns we handled quickly and to my satisfaction.
