Dr Sigmund is amazing! Very thorough in the exam and in explaining what is going on. She has cared for many of our pets going back as far the early '80's. I can't say enough for how good she is. Leaves nothing to chance.

I have been going to Creature Comforts for years and feel my dog is in good hands. This last time I went I had an appointment with the newest doctor on board who handles acupuncture, diet, and holistic concerns.

The doctor provided a thorough exam and was very detailed about my dogs back, legs, hips, knees etc. since this was the main issue.  They took 2 xrays, explained and discussed different options. The doctor did the one session of Acupuncture.. Very calm and explained everything in detail. My dog handled the Acupuncture well and it seemed to help him a lot.

He has now had his second session and is doing much better. I was very pleased with how my dog was taken care of and would recommend her if your dog needs any of the above services.

The cost was a little over my budget but in all honesty it was comparable to other vets in the area.  She was very nice and gave me a discount on the Bordetella and worming RX which was fantastic.

I am pleased with Creature Comforts and would recommend them.

In general Creature Comforts Animal Hospital is a top notch facility.  Some of the things I love are that you are never charged more after the fact.  I have been to other offices that "audit" your charges and bill you more later for items that were initially "left off" of the bill.  Costs are consistent and reasonable.  Her staff is extremely responsive and helpful and they appear to work like a well-oiled machine.  The office is very technologically forward thinking.
Over the years, Dr. Sigmond has been gracious enough to come to my home when we had to say goodbye to one of our dogs due to an illness that was terminal and causing suffering.  She never charges extra for this and it enormously helps the process remain peaceful and as stress free as is possible under the circumstances.
When people ask me what vet we use, I am always very proud to say all of our dogs always go to Betsy Sigmond.

I have gone to them for a couple of years, and I love it. They are very thorough, and they let you know about everything. The facilities are very clean, and nice, and they are very good with the dogs.

Our dog has had ongoing issues with not eating well, eating grass and vomiting, a loud growling stomach and issues with his stool. It's never consistent for days at a time, but never seems to get fully taken care of. Dr. Betsy created a progressive plan of actions and testing that we will work through to try to get to the root cause of the problem. She has been very responsive by email as the tests have come in. She also consults with other doctors, labs, and universities, which is proving helpful for a situation like ours that has no clear diagnosis. We're just in the beginning stages, but she has already done more than the previous vet we were with and saw on a couple occasions for this same problem.

my yorkie had problems with her teeth and gums, I love my dog but have always avoided the vets in the past about having my yorkies teeth cleaned, mainly it is quite expensive. stupid stupid ,,, listen to your vet,,, I took her to two vets for a opinion, one was harmony and the other was creature comfort,, harmony was great. took time to explain, and gave us a estimate,, then went to creature comforts, they were not very nice, but not mean either.the vet was nice, learned on the internet she had tons of education etc, when all was said and done, I almost had to go to er I was so upset. She said my little girl most likely had cushings disease...and my dog was in terrible pain.we came home, I was so sick, because my girl looked fine, wanted to play, but she had a horrible smell coming from her mouth, and I noticed some loose brown teeth, took her back to harmony vets, as questions about cushings etc, and after listening to dr. simone, I knew we found the right place, no cushings, but diseased teeth and gums that was my fault. she had the surgery, mouth is healing fine, bad smell is gone, harmony is wonderful,,, creature comfort wants money, and about killed me when she said my dog prob had cushings,,,,,please if you love your dog, listen to a GOOD vet and get their teeth cleaned, and not with rawhides,

The office girls and vet techs and vet were friendly, helpful and kind to my cats. (My other cat was sick last week and they called and emailed me several times to check on her progress). Dr. Betsy Sigmon is a great vet for many reasons: she loves animals and knows how to treat the older ones. She stays current in veterinary best practices and is good at explaining everything. With each visit, pet parents get printouts of everything that was done and discussed as well as suggested websites for further research on pet issues. The charges are in line with other vets, but I feel like I learn more about being a good pet parent at Creature Comforts. My former vet in another city was a colleague of hers in vet school and said and quot;Betsy is one smart lady!and quot; I agree.

Our standard poodle first saw Dr. Sigmon after a back injury. I got her name from Angie's List after our regular vet could not see her the same day. The Dr. drew blood and screened for Addison's at that time, but nothing showed up on the blood work. We went home with pain pills and a muscle relaxer and other instructions. The dog seemed to get better over the period of a month, then suddenly got worse.
We went back , took X-rays which did not show any issues, and decided on a two week period of complete inactivity, as I had gotten the dog too active too soon. At the end of two weeks I realized the dog was getting worse. The Dr. wanted to then do an ACTH stimulation test, the only real way to rule out or confirm Addison's (also know as and quot; The Great Imitatorand quot;), but I wanted to wait a little due to cost, a big mistake. I took the dog to my other vet to have her anal glands expressed (I thought that might fix her), and while there had her weighed and realized she had lost 10 pounds, dropping from 62 to 52 lbs. I knew she had lost some weight, but not that much. I immediately called Dr. Sigmon to schedule the test, but her office could not fit me in right away, so I emailed Dr. Sigmon. She called me back, was very concerned about our dog's welfare, and would have done the test within the hour, but I had just fed the dog (it was a fasting test). She then took the dog the next day - a Saturday. She said we would have the results first thing Monday morning.
Sunday morning, Dr. Sigmon kept checking online for the results after I emailed that Penny was refusing all food, emailed me immediately after getting the results, and met me at her office within 15 minutes to begin treating her. I believe if we had waited even one more day, the dog would have died.
Dr. Sigmon did all the right things in the right order, and it was only through my hesitation and ignorance that I almost killed my dog. Subsequent blood work (same tests she did initially) revealed extremely changed values and a very, very sick dog. The Addison's developed after the back injury, but Dr. Sigmon had all potential issues on her radar, including pancreatitis, and she did the proper tests in the proper order. My husband and I are so very grateful and she has earned our business for life. She really cares!

When we arrived at the the office we where greated by a very nice elderly lady. She helped us place our dogs on the scale to be weighed by the front desk person then esscorted us into an exam room. She let us know that the technician would be in shortly. With in minutes the technician arrived and greated us and our dogs. He reviewed what was to be done then started to work. One of our dogs was just having a vacination so he quickly started there and after reviewing what was needed he completed the work up, gave the vacination and was finished. Then he explained what was needed for our second dog having the annual exam and vacination. Again the tech did the work up then exited the room with our dog to additional annual exam testing in the back with the vet.
When he had finished he returned with our dog and reviewed what was done, asked if we had any questions and then asked if we needed any supplies. He ordered the needed medications and then let us know that the vet would be in soon.
We waited a bit longer than normal but we where entertained by the in house video screen playing pictures of other peoples pets. Very enjoyable!!
When the vet arrived she was very pleasant and reviewed all that had been done to both of our dogs. She discussed what could be done to improve our oldest dogs weight and youngest dogs bad breath. It was a very nice visit. She did not rush. She offered us more than required time and she was extremely caring.
We really enjoyed our visit and recomend Dr. Betsy and her staff to everyone.

I have been very satisfied with Creature Comforts Animal Hospital. The vet is extremely professional. The entire staff is very personable. They are extremely courteous as well. The care that they give the animals is superb. We have been using this clinic for over 20 years. The pricing is a little high at times. I will continue to use them in the future.

Creature Comforts is clean. The reception is very nice and very helpful. Even though my dog had a bath, I went to find a veterinarian. I walked in off the street, and they were pleasant. The doctor came out to introduce himself to me. They even showed me around the hospital.

I went there because of the recommendations I read on Angie's List and they were 100% on target. The vet was just beyond what I could ask for and she was tremendous. My cat was in the process of dying and I was sure about that. The vet was very compassionate and supportive. She went way beyond the call of duty. She was just wonderful. I spent about $250 for their services. My cat died. The diagnosis was such that we could do extraordinary efforts and try to save him or we could put him down. It was obvious to me that under such circumstances, it was the kindest thing to put him down. So, the vet was very gracious about that. Then she sent me a sympathy note by e-mail. She also sent me a sympathy card. She was just extraordinary. She took care of the burial for me as well. There were a number of services that she provided and didn't charge me for it under those circumstances. She had never met me before. She was kind in doing some diagnostic processes just because she wanted to know for sure. I would definitely use her services again.

The experience was fine as far as I know. They have a 4*10 or a 3*10 run. I leave my dogs there because it's a bigger space. I will continue to use them in future.
