Our house was built in 1968, and we had the original wood windows throughout the house.  I only had storm windows on a handful of windows, and could only open a few of them.  My wife finally decided it was time to get new windows, and marched into the Southern Ideal Home Show in Raleigh in Fall 2012.  She got there late Sunday afternoon, not long before closing time, and didn't know where to start.  She stopped at the first booth she saw, and asked the guy about where to look for a window company.  The guy she spoke to was Tim Williams, owner of Creative Renovations.  At first, my wife was concerned that she was wasting Tim's time, since she did not see any windows on display.  When he told her that his company did windows, she told him she would call for an estimate.
We called Tim a few weeks after the home show. He came to the house, discussed our needs, then looked around to gather information to give us a quote.  A week or so later, he came back with a quote that was significantly lower than a MAJOR competitor. Once we decided to do business with Creative Renovations, everything moved quickly and smoothly.  Tim took our order. A few weeks later, 22 windows were delivered and installed.  A two person crew showed up around noon on the first day, and completed the job just after noon the next day.  We were very pleased and impressed with the job they did.  
WE are very happy with our new windows.  No more drafts.  A warmer, quieter house.  Windows we can open.

I called Tim and had him come out for a consult. He was very open about pricing and references. Tim is not cheap, but good work never is. He focuses on making new construction appear to have always been there. In my case he had to focus on a reduced budget from what he usually deals with. He did a great job of pricing it within my budget and getting me exactly what he promised. Additionally, he dealt with some unusual material sourcing methods so I could use some pricing advantages I had. I would definitely use Tim again as I believe in doing it right once rather than getting the cheapest option and having to replace it.

They very efficient and informative on what to expect along the way. They did a fantastic job. They spent about 4 months building the deck which it wouldn't take that long due to us having more work done on our home at the same time. They gave us exactly what I had envisioned my mind. We paid extra for the work which it was definitely worth it. It was worth paying more to get the quality we received.

I just cannot say enough good things about them. They did an excellent job. The workers were very friendly. We just love the porch and deck. The job was done in a couple weeks. The whole service experience was exceptional. I do not think the price is anyone s business.

I could not possibly have been more pleased. Tim's company not only started on time- they started a week EARLY because he knew that my husband, who is paralyzed, was in dire need of the home being remodeled after another contractor dropped us for no apparent reason, leaving us high and dry... literally- no shower!! He stayed 100% on budget, asked for milestone payments, not all up front and hired absolutely top notch crew to complete the job. I recommend them without hesitation- which is a rare occurrence for a home remodeler!
