The owner went above and beyond to help us out. We bought the trailer hitch for this particular trip, and after we had the trailer loaded the hitch was awfully low to the ground. We went back to the store (with the loaded trailer) to see if he had a ball mount and ball that would be higher off the ground. What he had in stock didn't quite work because of the shape of the bumper on our car, so he went to the local autozone to look for, and buy, a ball mount that would work for our cost. He did this at no additional cost to us, and he stayed open an hour after closing working with us until we were happy.
I couldn't have been happier with the service, and I would happily use them again.

We had some heavy furniture on a trailer that needed to be moved into our bedroom. Checked Angie's List and Cary Moving had an A rating. I called them and set up a date and time for them to come. They showed up on time and immediately started moving things. They took our old bed frame apart and moved it to another bedroom and set up the ma, gottress on it. They then put up the new bed frame and got the mattress on it.
Then, they moved the heavy piece in. After several attempts, they managed to maneuver it into the bedroom. No wall scratches.
Finally they moved a sofa from the basement to the attic.
All in all, they did a really efficient, good job

They responded right away as promised from the initial phone call. Brought packing paper, tape and a variety of boxes as promised. In the rain!! Came back to load furniture with three very polite men and unloaded everything at our new home. There were a few pieces of furniture at our new home we wanted moved to a different room and they did everything we asked. Including a very heavy treadmill. We also had a spare refrigerator we used at our old house in the garage and had no use for it at our new home which my husbands mother, who also lives about 10 miles away, wanted. They moved it for us to her house and made her very happy as well.

I was happy to find a local company close by as that seemed energy- and time-efficient. I had moved 16 months previously and was not very pleased with that company, so did some web research and liked what I saw about this company.
They sent 3 men who were friendly, professional, communicative and who took very good care of my possessions. The previous movers carried some boxes sideways, mixing up the contents and causing lots of extra work while unpacking. I shared this concern with them and nothing like that happened with this team.
They were patient about moving the furniture and boxes around until I was pleased with the results. They did the job very efficiently, in less time than the other company and for less money. And nothing was broken or disturbed! I only had 2 large appliances to move, the washer and dryer, and they unhooked it at the old place, which didn't go smoothly because of a bad connection in the apt. We had to get the apt maintenance man over to help. He did help, but the faucet there would need to have additional maintenance done. They successfully hooked up the machines at the new place.
I had just gotten all new flooring the week before (see review on Cary Painting and Home Improvement), and was very pleased that my new flooring survived the move beautifully.
I highly recommend this company. I'd say I'd use them again, however, 2 moves in 16 months was enough, so I hope it's a long time before I need movers again!
