This was a terrible experience. We were told they could fit in doing an interior detail of our minivan. So, we emptied out the van (including car seat) to prepare it for the detail. This in itself was a huge process. We then dragged the entire family out so I could follow my wife to Bunkey's. We live in central Raleigh, so the drive alone took us 25 minutes, one way. I chauffeured my wife around for the afternoon while they had our car. At 4:30 I got a call saying they would not be finished until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. I explained that this would not work, as my wife and I work and have 3 kids to haul all over creation. At that point the guy suggested we pick the car up and get a refund. So, we hauled the family out, again, so I could take my wife to get her van. (Another hour of our day down the drain.) Then when we got there the guy acted like he was doing us a favor because he didn't charge us for the very basic wash they had already done. I don't know. If I'm a manager or owner and I've told a customer I will get something done today, I'm either going to stay late and do it myself or pay one of my employees double time to work extra to get it done. I will not be giving this place any more business.

This is the first time I have ever had a full detail and I am impressed! I purchased a gallon of pain from a "Big Box Store" here in Cary, and they neglected to pound the lid closed resulting in a (very literal) paint explosion in the back cargo/trunk area of my Ford Escape. Needless to say the "Big Box Store' was quick to tell me to take it to wherever I wanted to make an attempt to clean at least a 1/3 of a gallon of paint from the carpet, seat back, hard and soft plastic trim and even down into area where the spare tire was kept. Bunkey's was my first thought as I have used their car wash/basic interior clean almost monthly on all our cars for the last five years and have been more than pleased with the service, price and courtesy they have always shown my family. A day after the "explosion" I took it to the location off of High House to see what could be done and spoke to a very polite detailer promptly. He assured me that my vehicle was not the first one they had seen like this and that their location in Cary off of Kildaire had the equipment to tackle the paint stain. They were honest about the amount of time that would be needed to do a job like this (at least five hours) and asked that I leave the car with them for at least half of a day. They were willing and able to work with me to find a good time and I was scheduled for 2 days later. When I dropped my car off the gentleman in charge of the detailing went over all of the areas they would be cleaning and explained what I could expect as an outcome. He was very honest (but positive) with me as to what I could expect from removing latex paint from interior plastic detail which was something I appreciated greatly. He helped me move a car seat and some personal items from the car without even having to ask. Almost exactly five hours later I received a call that my car was ready to be picked up. When I went out with a different detailer to inspect the work the first thing that he said was "We found this money way down between the seats and I want to make sure it is in your hands". He handed me $22 in cash and showed me how they had neatly bundled up into bags the "loose stuff" that was floating around in my car. I had no idea that this cash was in my car, and was so very pleased by the detailing crew's honesty. I am in no way implying that they would ever steal anything, but it is a very honest fact that the cash could have gone into someones pocket and I would never have known any different. That speaks volumes for the integrity of the employees that worked on my vehicle. And on top of everything, they got *ALL* of the paint out of pretty much everything. My car looked brand new again. The only negative thing I have to say is that the back of the car stunk like crazy with a very strong chemical smell for about 48 hours afterwards. I am assuming that was from getting the latex paint out of the carpet and it did dissipate completely after that period of time. Was it pricey? A bit, but they were able to return my fairly new vehicle to the condition it was before the paint explosion, so in my opinion it was worth every penny. My vehicle was completed on time, with the outcome exactly as expected and with integrity so it was money very well spent. Do they have my return business? Absolutely.

GREAT!!! I had ugly pine sap spots all over my car for the last 6 months - even after going through multiple automatic car washes at $10 - $12 each. I finally decided to try Bunkies... and am now a loyal customer. For only $16.00 total, I received not only an exterior wash, polish and hand dry that removed all the sap - but they also vacuumed the floor, washed the windows, polished the dash! My car not only looked nice, but smelled awesome too!

They insisted on nicking me the SUV price for my Honda CR-V, just like an Expedition or Navigator. Guys, the CR-V is built on a Civic chassis and is smaller than an Accord.
