Mr West did two site visits and a report on the home. He crawled under the house and into tight corners to do a very, very thorough inspection. His report clearly outlined his inspection and the work that needed to be completed for the home to structurally sound. We were very happy with his work, his conversations with us, and his report on our home.

Our problem was focused on ceiling cracks beneath an air handler installed in the attic.  Mr. West did a thorough evaluation of the issue, taking measurements and explaining calculations and load distribution in a clear and down-to-earth way.  He examined the house walls as well as the attic, and provided a detailed but easily understood description of how our attic trusses manage added weight and how our cracks resulted from normal deflection, not structural flaws or installation problems.  He is seasoned, interested in his work, confidence- inspiring and a nice guy to work with.  Recently retired from his job as a structural engineer for the State of NC.  Very happy we found him - will definitely use him again for any other work.
