Excellent service- they have taken down trees for us twice in the last two years. Both times they were highly professional, responsive, knowlegeable, and efficient. Their teamwork is really impressive. We have great confidence in them. The quality of their work has been outstanding.

All services were completed professionally and courteously. Everything was cleaned up afterward. Their price was competitive. I would not hesitate to recommend Blackhawk to others needing tree service.

FANTASTIC! I am at the end of a dead end street. They were very courteous to neighbors making sure they did not block any driveways. Made sure I knew what was going on at all times and that I was completely satisfied. Their prices were very competitive. Everything went off without a hitch and in much less time than I had expected. HIGHLY recommend this company.

Blackhawk determined that oak was healthy, just dropping lower branches that tend to die off. Said one large branch needed to be removed. Also indicated minor trimming needed on poplar and a pine as well as another tree. They performed work about 2-3 weeks later (one week was rainy). Also cleaned up -- wood choppered the huge branches that had previously fallen. Courteous and pros. Reasonable price.

The estimate provided was very reasonable given the scope of work, the contractors were very pleasant and friendly and willing to be flexible and accommodating in addressing our needs and concerns. They were also very prompt and responsive to our questions and schedule changes in the case of bad weather. We would highly recommend working with them.

We were delighted with the service, price, and professionalism of Blackhawk Tree Inc.  The owner visited our property three times in advance of the work to make sure that he understood what we wanted, and that we understood the level of effort and the equipment necessary for a safe job. Then he underbid two other tree service companies by $2,800 and $4,900 respectively.
The workers showed up on time and did everything on, or ahead of, schedule. The workers were polite, professional, very efficient, and hard working. The crane operated with precision, lifting large trees over the house and neatly stacking them in the front yard where they were later removed.  The trees came down as scheduled over a total of four work days.  Cleanup was just as we expected.

Very professional.  Came out on the date and time stated and pricing was much better than competitors.  Left all areas clean and free of debris.

They came when my wife and I were not here and did a first class job. Everything was trimmed as promised. Their was no debris as promised. The site was clean. We have used them twice and plan to use them again. We would recommend them to anyone.

Everyone was professional, on time and cleaned they up as they worked. All debris removed.  No problem getting a copy of insurance from his insurance company. If we have future tree needs, we will hire Blackhawk.

I thought they were excellent; they came with plenty of people and plenty of equipment in order to take care of the job quickly and painlessly. The owner offered to send me a bill and I offered to pay him then. He let me pay him then so he was very professional. His pricing was excellent.

My experience with them was wonderful.  I had used them before when I first moved into the house.  Unfortunately, I had a tree die on me and I had them come and take it out.  They did a fantastic job.  They came, did it, cleaned up after themselves and left.  I would definitely use them again.

I had to call a couple of times after accepting the estimates to find out when they were coming. They cut tree down but it nicked a shed. Not a major problem. The workers told me about it and sometime later they came back to fix it. But never communicated to me that were coming back or that they had fixed it. So a great price but you have to follow up with them to find out what's going on.
