Backyard Produce

The produce was delivered a day late.  Virtually all of it was spoiled.  Not only that, it was approximately twice the price of stores and, for that reason I assumed it was local and organic.  Not so!  It was the exact same product as in the supermarket, only spoiled.  To their credit, however, after several emails, they agreed to refund my cost and cancel my subscription.

For about 8 months now, we have had Backyard Produce deliver fresh produce to our door. They are an amazing company. They have been truly remarkable. It is such a neat idea to get the produce delivered - I'm eating so many more vegetables! They deliver every week. They call themselves "Online Farmers' Market". You can get different levels. It starts at $25. I get the $45. First of all, it is delivered to your house, which is amazing. The quality of the produce is also amazing. I don't buy produce from the grocery store any more. Most of it is organic, which is really good. I think the price is comparable to what you would pay at Earth Fair or a shop like that - and it is delivered.

I cancelled any future orders and was not asked as to why.  Personally, I don't feel that the items I ordered were worth $37.50.  Could not get the $15 yearly packaging fee back, no explanation given.  Do not order from this company unless you want to spend a lot more for organic produce or other goods.
