I thought they were very professional. The person who came out listened to everything I had to say and was good about making everything the way I wanted it. They did a beautiful job and I was very pleased.

Artisan was the only company I could find who were willing to install a micro-hood unit above our stove into new cabinets. I checked them out with the BBB and figured they would be a good company. We previously had ductwork running down into the cabinet above the micro-hood, but we needed a hole cut in the bottom of the cabinet (just on top of the micro-hood) so we could connect the micro-hood exhaust to the existing ductwork in the cabinet. We had the rectangular adapter for the ductwork, but the cabinet installers (another company) had unfortunately run our ductwork off center through the cabinet, making the ductwork connection tricky. I was assured by our handyman at Artisan that he had all the tools and materials to do the job in an hour. The micro-hood unit was mounted and plugged in, but the ductwork was NOT connected at all. My husband was left to figure out how to connect the ductwork with an adjustable elbow and to cut the hole in the cabinet properly since the rectangular to round adapter was just sitting on top of the micro-hood exhaust. My husband also had to move the micro-hood (50 lbs) off its mounts on the wall to cut the hole right. We've had to make multiple trips to the hardware store to get the right configuration of ductwork adapters to make the connections that should have been made as part of the job. The handyman left a big mess of wood shavings all over the countertop and stove for me to clean up. He also left behind a charger for one of his tools. He mentioned before starting the job (on a Friday afternoon), that he was going on vacation for two weeks and I was his last customer of the day. Red flags went up and I should have just sent him on his way right then. At the end of the 'install' he had the gall to say, "If you need any other work done, we do almost anything up to complete renovations." Believe me, it will be a cold day in hell before I let them do a renovation in my house!!!
