A B Stone Boutique

I'm thinking very positively about them. I've been satisfied so far with them. They're very busy so sometimes, it took a while for them to get back to me. People there were always very nice. Several years ago, they covered my brick fireplace with granite and we were happy with that so that's why we decided to use them again. I think very conscientious and open to criticism. If something is not right, they fix it. They make you feel comfortable that they're going to follow through what they said they were going to do. There was a problem. They appeared with the granite in 2 pieces so we switched it back so that pushed out our time. As far as pricing, I didn't find any place that was any better except if the price was better, I didn't feel like I could trust them.

I replaced my master (double sink) bathroom vanity top with a granite stone from the $39/sq ft promotional coupon offer. I submitted a sketch with measurements, chose my granite and other specifics but when I received my preliminary estimate, they quoted the wrong size and included additional costs covered by the coupon. After several emails and phone discussions with Olga a more complete  estimate was provided. I was not comfortable with my initial interactions so I did not pursue. A couple of months later I received a follow up call from Rose, whom I had a brief interaction with during my initial visit and was pleased with her insight.  I decided to order the vanity top but am very disappointed with the installation. The granite top and backsplash were installed off center which has resulted in the need for a plumber who will have to move the pipes to line up with the sink drains unless I can have them re-install the top. In addition, the installer forgot to remove the gasket on one sink and has wedged the old gasket to the bottom of the new sink bowl making it impossible to attach new plumbing. I should have trusted my instincts and found a different company. 

When I went in the store the first time, I had a drawing that could be used for a rough estimate, and they  provided estimates for several different materials. Their price for the material was less than the other companies I dealt with. They also provided a lot of additional information and tips that helped me plan the projects. After looking at a number of providers, A B Stone Boutique had the best price, and they were one of the few vendors that had not given me false or misleading information.

The young man who came out to do the template was very professional and explained the process. He was prompt, finished his task quickly and answered the questions I had.

When they came to do the installation they were about an hour late, but they stayed late to finish the job. Two men removed my old countertops and installed the new ones in about 3 hours. They did not damage any of the cabinets or tile, nor did they make a mess. They made every effort to clean up any dust or mess that was created during the job.

I am very pleased with the countertops and have gotten lots of compliments on them. I would recommend A B Stone Boutique to anyone looking to replace countertops.

I had a bad experience with another stone company in Cary.  I went to their showroom and was ignored for 15 minutes, and when I asked for help, I was told no one was available.  That's all the reply that was offered.  I felt invisible.  So my next stop was AB Stone.  Tania and Tony were very nice and helped me find a quartz remnant that both matched my bathroom perfectly and came in at the right amount for my budget.  From the time I chose the quartz, it only took a few days for someone to template the vanity, and the countertop was installed about a week after that.

So, in short, AB Stone was:  friendly, helpful, timely, efficient, and cost effective!

This is the second time we've used them for granite. They are very efficient. The pricing is very good. They were on time and had good follow through. We used remnants so we got a better price. We would use them again.

It was fine, there were no problems.  They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it.

I had my kitchen remodeled by A B Stone Boutique. It was a very pleasant experience overall. After going to the showroom they made me feel comfortable with all the options available. After selecting the granite I wanted I was able to see the actual slab before it was cut and installed in my home. The installation was done on time and it was a smooth process. One of the installers spent time with me to go through the process of maintaining and taking care of the stone which was an extra bonus. I'm very happy with the results and I still get positive comments from friends and family when they visit. Next up I want to get my bathrooms remodeled with granite or marble and I look forward to working with Stone Boutique again.

Estimate and installation went well. However, they failed to properly seal the granite (although we were charged for it), resulting in significant staining of the counter-tops. We requested that they review and correct the problem. They did come out and look at the situation, but then claimed that the damage was normal. They refused to stand behind their product, workmanship, and 15 year warranty.
