We were very pleased with this company. They returned phone calls promptly. They were very polite and made helpful suggestions that saved us money. We were told the work would be done next week which we were happy with but, even better, the work was complete in 2 days from making contact with the company. They were excellent in keeping us informed as to the progress of what work had been done. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

I wanted to do something in my backyard but I just couldn't because my neighbors wanted me to ask for their permission to use my yard. I've had numerous disputes with them and my attorney advised that I put up a fence but I needed to know if I'm legal to do that. Matthews Land Surveying spent hours marking the property line. After the lines were drawn, I proudly explained to my neighbor that their stall was obviously on our land and it was way over on our side. The surveyors wrote me a letter, sent me the bill, and did whatever they needed to do downtown. They eventually got me a permit and then I was legal. I would definitely use them again.

I contacted John Matthews 2 days ago to request services. He gave me a flat rate estimate over the phone. Was able to get out to the property and complete work within 2 days time. VERY easy to work with over the phone and get the work completed without having to be present..

John Matthews showed up as scheduled. Found all original property markers from 1979 and proceeded to do a new survey using modern equipment. All went well and john put stakes in where the property lines were found.

He was very knowledgeable, very prompt, and very reasonable. We are
glad we found him on Angie's List and are now writing this review so
others may benefit from his services.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Matthews surveying.

I called him to find and mark the corners of my lot. He gave me a quote over the phone which was much cheaper then the other surveyors in the area. He was very courteous and extremely professional. All the corners were clearly marked and the actual corner pins were unearthed as visual verification of the corners. I would definitely recommend Mr. Matthews to others and will definitely use him in the future if needed.

Matthews Land Surveying is a very personable yet professional company. John, the owner, came out within one day of my call and with clarity explained the process of surveying our property. He even included some interesting stories regarding findings of historical property markers for corners that he has run across in surveying local land. John did some preliminary research on the property too! He was prompt and courteous - not surprising as he is a former Marine which also is reflected in his work ethic. He explained what the job would entail including his rates which were in sync with other estimates - a standard charge per linear foot of property.Though I have not had the work competed yet, I will definitely use Matthews Land Surveying when the time comes.
