Caramore Community

Insist that the supervisor be present for the entire time of work.  Don't expect high quality landscaping skills.  Very good for simple stuff.

Caramore is a not-for-profit organization providing transitional community residential and employment opportunities for people with mental illness. The landscaping crews are one of the employment skills training opportunities which may explain the low monthly cost (average $50-$75). Several neighbors use Caramore and after observing the work we hired them not even aware of the organization's actual purpose. We have been very satisfied with the results and are pleased to be contributing to a good cause whose success will benefit the community as a whole. We recommend Caramore.

I needed help tidying my yard after winter - very unsophisticated work: weeding, removing dead clumps of grass, getting leaves out of shrubbery, picking up fallen sticks and branches, trimming deadwood from bushes, etc. What I needed was several cheerful helping hands - and I got them! John at Caramore & I played it by ear until we had a dry day when I could be home from work for the morning, and he and his crew showed up on time. With a half dozen willing workers, my front and side yard were tidied in no time, and the cost was extremely reasonable. I will certainly call them again!

WE'VE USED THEM FOR MORE THAN TEN YEARS. THE MANAGER IS GREAT. THE PEOPLE HE HIRES ARE MENTALLY CHALLENGED, BUT THEY DO A GREAT JOB AND THEY DO IT QUICKLY. THEIR REASONABLE PRICES ARE AMAZING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.
