I cannot recommend Mr Farmer and strongly advise he be avoided. While Mr Farmer's quality was excellent, he wound up extorting monies and was in breach of contract. Mr Farmer initiated the project after 50% upfront was paid as per his terms. We were very happy with his work, slow though it was. Before the project was completed, he began demanding more monies before he would continue the project. He was advised monies would be paid in full in agreement with his terms when the project was completed. Mr Farmer subsequently abandoned the project, left construction mess and never repaired damage made to neighbor's property. He threatened to 'remove' his work done to date [ie- 'destroy'] if more monies were not given immediately. He sent several harassing texts and made an unannounced visit demanding money, threatening lawsuit. He initiated a small claims process and filed a lien. I was required to hire an attorney at my expense and it was determined the case would likely be rendered in my favor due to breach of contract for failure to complete the project. However the expense of this legal process outweighed the estimated balance due. Case was settled. Another contractor was required to come and repair damages as well as complete the project Mr Farmer abandoned. Please be very cautious.
