They installed low voltage outdoor lighting for me- $8500 project. The problem started with the installation - they buried the cables just below the top inch of the mulch. Within a few weeks, many of the cables were exposed. I called to have them come back and bury the cables deeper. I was told that they had a new hire bury the wiring and it was supposed to be below the mulch - 2-3 inches down. They came back and completed the job. About a year later, one of the low voltage lights stopped working. I called them several times with no response. Finally, Mike called me back and came out to repair the issue. It took about 6 weeks between my initial contact to getting the repair done. Last month, another light went out. I started calling the office and got the run around between Brian and Mike. After 2 weeks of being shuffled between the two, Mike wanted to charge me $90 just to come out and assess the situation - yet the lights were still under warranty. While I tried to give him details about the situation, but he became very rude and disrespectful to me. I asked to speak to Brian, and he refused to allow this. Mike has no professionalism and his customer service skills do not exist. My advice is to find another company because you will not be happy with any follow up/service you may need.

Helpful estimator - quick to reply and great advice. Beautiful work - high degree of craftsmanship. No surprises on quality, cost, or schedule. Only negative: It took a long time and multiple contacts w/job foreman to get a drain issue resolved. Otherwise, customer service would get 5 stars.

The price was steep for me but I don't know what it cost at other companies. Mike the owner is great and Herb the estimator, fantastic as well. You will be happy with the work. I guarentee it. So give Quality Contractors a call and get them working for you.

They worked with me to get the driveway I wanted and made suggestions on what I needed, especially for drainage. The did great work.

We recently had Quality Concrete Contractors install a driveway at our home in North Asheville and we couldn't be more thrilled with the result. Mike and his whole crew were outstanding with communicating every step of the way. There were a few challenges with our lot and design, but Mike diligently worked with all parties involved to make sure the inspections and approvals went smoothly. The end result is gorgeous!

My hats off to this crew. They took care of everything from permits to a possible drainage problem. I have a 6-car driveway that had sunken over time. Quality Contractors took up and removed the old, diagnosed the issue, fixed a drainage tube, delivered and smoothed 3 dump trucks of fill material, framed - poured and finished the cement all in 2 days. My neighbors remarked how respectful the crew was and how nice the finished drive looked. Mike (owner) and Kim (superv) made sure to answer all of my questions and continued to take care of post-pour things like grass seed, even after I made final payment. These guys aren't the cheapest in town, but what I got was worth the price.

Our experience with Owner Mike & Quality Concrete Contractors was Exceptional -- We had to replace an original new build driveway, plus a lengthy addition/extension of an existing walkway. Mike and Rick were very personable, flexible and creative with design and solutions throughout the process. They take the extra steps and give you extra care in their workmanship, along with their large removal/install and finish crew, as well as excellent cleanup and putting everything back in place. Would absolutely use their services again -- Very highly recommended!!

My experience with Quality Contractors was awesome. They were very helpful from the start of the project to the end and did the extra little things that some contractors don't. They took steps to make sure I was happy every step of the way. Definitely will work with them on my next project.

I entered into an agreement with Quality Contractors to replace a driveway and walkway. During the first concrete pour, a sudden, unexpected rain caused damage. Mike Stollenmaier offered options for addressing the problem, and we finally agreed the best solution was to remove and replace the damaged concrete. Throughout this lengthy process, Mike showed gracious professional concern and personal integrity.

Herb and Mike were great to work with. Herb was knowledge and Mike kept me informed about when to expect the work to be done. Their workers did a great job and were very nice. I am very happy with the results.

We had a great experience with Quality Contractors. After buying a house the driveway needed to be totally redone. After 3 bids this company stood out to us because they were knowledgeable, respectful, and were willing to give us references. They even pointed us to a house nearby where they had done driveway work for us to check out. There were quite a few delays due to rainy weather, but Mike kept in touch with us to explain the delay and we were impressed that he wanted the job done right under the right conditions. When there was a break in the weather and the date for work was set, Mike and his crew came out when they said they would and got right to work. His crew was very respectful and did a great job. We couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend Quality Contractors. Not all contractors are the same but these guys are one of the best!

They are very professional. They came to do what they said and added an extra length on our pathway. They finished at a very timely manner. Mike is very easy to talk to and accommodated our schedule.

I would highly recommend this company. They exceeded my expectations and I would say the quality of they work was exceptional. I was allowed to modify the original plan at the last minute and I had exactly what I wanted. I had trouble walking up step and had very un level ground. I is 100 % perfect. No worries about steps or falling. I would definitely reccommend this company and we are looking at my next project love this company everyone was awesome. I wholeheartedly recommend Quality Contractors and its owner, Mike Stollenmaier. As a person who does a significant amount of home improvement and construction myself, I am a very demanding customer. Mike and his team exceeded even my high expectations in a driveway paver installation. Using the highest quality pavers, Mike and his team were prompt, courteous, and skilled which resulted in a finished job of the highest quality. He and his men exhibited the strongest work ethic. They started work on time, provided extra effort not only in the original project, but in resolving unforseen situations that arose without additionall expense. He kept the work site clean and safe, and even accommodated an unexpected winter storm that deposited nearly 2 feet of snow on the property. Mike gave advice and suggestions to resolve not just one, but two unexpected engineering problems. I value a contractor who can adapt and resolve unanticipated issues with calm and skill, and Mike fits this description. Probably most important, Mike was at the work site overseeing his workers the entire time the job was underway. He never left his team unattended, and he kept me constantly updated on the progress and the next steps. He completed the job in a timely fashion, notwithstanding a blizzard you would never expect in North Carolina. I would gladly have Mike and his team work on any future project I may have. Responsive to repairing an initial flaw in the concrete driveway. Overall, a quality concrete installation.

Mike and the team completed the 1300sq ft project I only 2 days! The team performed EVERY aspect of the job very professionally and to the highest standards. They removed the old cracked driveway, properly graded the site, placed the welded wired mesh and rebar ( to validate proper depth throughout), and then poured/finished the concrete. I now have a Quality driveway that I expect will last for many years to come. I highly recommend Quality Contractors for all of your concrete needs.

Their quoted price was the lowest and their description of the task was the best. They did the work on time and left no mess.
