Proxy Home Watch

Description of Work: Weekly condo check service. The technician performs a thorough home check of appliances, windows, etc while we are away. They also oversee home repairs and special services. The place is always set up and just waiting when we arrive. Very convenient.

Description of Work: While traveling, Proxy managed cleaning of the windows and the home.

Description of Work: Walk through house once a week, take occasional photographs, ask if we want mail forwarded and forward with postage due, charge from 10-20 per hour for time beyond their regular walk through, stop at house ONLY on their regularly scheduled day.( e.g., inform us of first class mail and ask what to do with it, we then write back and say please forward, but that will not happen until following week on regular stop by day. I messed up and ordered three bedspreads sent to that house not knowing AVL UPS throws boxes in driveway ( we have a covered front porch so I assumed anything I ordered would left there ( like our home in another state ). Box say out in driveway with several rainy days : one OK, one stained , and one mailed back to Smaxon for which we were charged over $ 40,00. We do not have neighbors we know who might spot a box and toss on porch and we do not have contacts with individuals whoi might watch homes as a sideline to other jobs . Our result or suggested this company and we like the personnel. We will, however, seek more contacts this summer in hopes that we can find a more flexible and less expensive person to look after the house. We suspect our house (small fifties ranch ) is theistic eat house on their lust. The other homes described sounded like they were c 3-4 times the size of ours.

Description of Work: Proxy provided a variety of services including hiring and supervising the cleaning of the home, removal of trash and the periodic watering of plants. During the period when we were away they also provided random inspections of the home to insure that nothing bad happened while we were on vacation.

Description of Work: My wife and I hired Phil Murphy to look after our vacation home in the Asheville area. It is approximately $200 a month on an annual fee. There are sometimes other costs involved.

Description of Work: Home security and maintenance to include periodic inspection of the interior, lawn and exterior maintenance, mail and package collection plus the scheduling and coordination of repair work as required on a monthly basis.
