A nightmare. He was informed of utility locations and managed to rupture 3 water lines, a tile drain line, an electrical line and nearly tore out the gas line after he exposed it but for got it was there. Mis-estimated the drain slope, dug the trench too deep and left a huge mess saying I could call his helper to clean it up.

They came when we scheduled it. One thing they didn't do, which was a communication thing and so we called them and they came right back and did it, so that was great.

It went great. Mr. Henson went above and beyond on both items. We live on a mountain and the slop in front of our house was becoming unstable. Mr. Henson put some very large, natural looking boulders in to stabilize. When we weren't completely satisfied with the appearance, he came back until we were fully satisfied at no charge.
We also had a stone walkway with cracks in it. Mr. Henson tried a low cost option and we weren't completely satisfied. He then recommended another contractor who replaced the walkway to make it look great.
We were very satisfied with the work on both projects and highly recommend Mr. Henson and plan to use him for any future projects. He's very reliable, easy to work with, and charges reasonable prices. He called back to make sure we were completely satisfied.

Lawrence is very professional & very friendly. He explains everything very thoroughly & patiently. He has inventory of photos to show of his previous work, & is able to make knowledgeable suggestions based on your site.
I am very satisfied with the final finished product. It blends very well aesthetically with our home, lot, and landscape / environment.

I am very happy with the work, it was excellent. He came on time with the project and came within budget. It took about 6-8 weeks to do the work and he was very responsive. He did have a crew with him and he was here to supervisor. He was on the higher end for price but he has higher quality work compared to other companies.

He does a very good job and he is very professional. He is very busy unfortunately but scheduling does go well. He has a crew of about 4 guys and the amount of times usually varies. I am very satisfied with the results.

He did an excellent job. He was very personable and he did what he said he was going to do. There were two crew members and it took about a week to complete. Scheduling went well and I am very satisfied with the results. He is a good that does good work.

It went very well, considering the cold weather and occasional snow. He gladly agreed to save the old stones, which we have gradually used for other projects around the yard and even sold some to a neighbor. He is a expert with the backhoe and went to extra effort to save a beautiful Japanese maple tree. And at the end, he cleaned up the area fully. The proof that his workmanship is excellent is that the wall has been perfectly strong and stable throughout this year (2013) considering all of the heavy rainfall that we have had.

Lawrence Henson built a beautiful 121 foot strong retaining wall on a hillside at 5 feet tall, finished the driveway with packed gravel and curb stops in the turn around area to make a non-functioning situation very nice. A tenant described the work as "a real game changer". Now we can park 8 cars where before we had only 2 car parking. Lawrence also buried a propane tank and installed an engineered drainage system to drain the drive, built gorgeous poured concrete steps from the driveway down to the lower property and built a raised patio at the kitchen door. He is able to make a hard job look easy. Lawrence's dedication to solving a complicated situation is much appreciated and the results are wonderful.
