Mike Hannah is unethical, deceitful and irresponsible . His crew used very poor, faulty workmanship throughout and used substandard materials. I have pervasive leaks throughout the entire home now, with ceiling damage requiring sheetrock and plaster. Photos and an inspection now shows the following, all which invalidate the warranty on the shingles: under driven nails, low exposed nails, use of metal instead of wood to re-build roof in sections, open exposed areas around the chimney (where a significant leak is) and flashing that is not adhered and NO roofing paper used throughout most of the roof. An inspection inside of the attic shows exposed shingles without roof paper or wood. Do not hire this individual. He is unresponsive and will refuse to fix his mistakes. On the first day of the job he left his crew members without adequate materials to re-build a significant roof sag. They simply were putting shingles over the old, sagging wood. I had to call him on it, have them tear it out and re-do the area the following day. Not surprisingly, this area leaked so significantly still 7 months later that it had to be done again- and the ceiling had to be sheetrocked. I now am facing a legal situation because I have been told by 3 roofing companies that the faulty, irregular workmanship is so pervasive that the entire roof needs to be redone. This- after paying Mike Hannah $9025 last year.
Description of Work: I have a beautiful older arts and crafts home that needed a full re-roofing. His company was to pull off all old shingles and roofing paper, re-build all sags and dips in the roof as needed and replace with new wood, paper and shingles.
