Doug Jones was prompt, cheerful and quick to write up his report. That is the end of the positive remarks that I can make. There were numerous problems that were not identified by Doug. Doug neglected to identify a leaking outdoor faucet that I need to have replaced at a cost of over $200. He also failed to identify that 7 windows did not lock (which I had to fix), a rear exterior door lock did not work (which I had to fix), a screen on one of the windows was improperly installed such that it blew off in a storm. In addition, he failed to identify that a fiber mesh furnace filter was completely worn out and therefore useless and was not even installed correctly. He did not identify that an outlet in the master bedroom did not work (the outlet was exposed and able to be checked during the inspection). In addition, he did not identify that the fireplace fan does not work. I am certain there are more issues that I have fixed since moving in two months ago, I just can’t think of any more at this point.

Great! I was there during the inspection and was pleased that the inspector took the time to answer my questions thoroughly.

In the hunt for a home in Asheville, I used Economy Services three times including the home on which I finally closed. They were perfect.  Very thorough.  On the second home on which I was making an offer - my dream country home - they found so many problems that I couldn't run away fast enough.  On the third home - the West Asheville one I finally purchased - Wilson kept smiling and shaking his head.  We thought there were problems until he came clean and said how well constructed this home was.  He got excited about its quality, which reinforce my intent to make the deal happen.
I certainly recommend them, and would absolutely use them again in the future.

Contacted ESI after recommendation from friend. Set an appointment time that was to be some time between and quot;3:15-4:00.and quot; Doug showed up at 3:30 and apologized for being late, though he wasn't. He inspected the house for about 30 mins and then asked me to accompany him so he could show me what he found. He indicated that we did have termites and that they were confined to one beam, but the beam was not compromised. We sat down at the table and he drew out a picture of the house and wrote in the measurements he took of the house on the corresponding parts of the house. He then told me about the chemical they would use and the process that would take place and about the amount of time it would take. We talked about their costs for work now and how long it would be warranted and then about the ongoing bond for the house and the costs. After we finished talking about the termites, we discussed a regular spraying schedule for ants. He asked some questions regarding the ant problem and then gave us a quote for what that would look like. He advised that with the amount of rain we've had that some of what we are getting in the way of pests is not routine for the area and that the chemical they would be using for the termites could possibly take care of the ants. He gave some suggestions on things we could do on our own to help alleviate some of the issues.
While their quote was not the cheapest, we decided to use ESI for our termite treatment and future pest needs. We found them to be approachable, attentive to our needs, and respectful of time and home. They took the time to write everything down for us and answer any questions we had throughout the process.
The day of the treatment, they were on time, professional, and informative as to what they would be doing. They talked about our animals (primarily our cats as the treatment was drilled in outside the gated back yard) and what we should look for after they treated, just in case. When they were finished, they cleaned up where they had been working. We asked again about the ants and possible routine spraying and they told us to monitor it and get back to them if we wanted to go that route. We've had no problems since they came out.
We felt so strongly about the guys at ESI, that one of our employers is now switching over to their services.

Wilson Jr from ESI came promptly to our appointment, and thoroughly performed the desired inspection. He described and showed us items as he found them; report documented all with photographs.
Modest list of findings was submitted to our builder who is remedying all of them.

Wilson Jones arrived at 10 AM on the appointed morning. He went right to work, and was very efficient in his inspection. No stone was left unturned, and I felt that all my concerns and questions were addressed professionially and completely. The total inspection took about 2 hours, and I was invited to accompany him throughout the the process.
I would hire this company again without question.

Doug arrived early and started his inspection before my husband and I arrived. He was very thorough and welcomed our questions and comments throughout the process (we had many as we were first time home buyers.) He was very kind with a sweet demeanor and great since of humor and laugh. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable with our (prospective) home, what it's strengths were and weaknesses that could use improvement. He took our payment via credit card on the spot, and had a full report emailed to us within the hour. His documentation and photographs were wonderful and really came in handy when negotiating some repairs with the seller. If you're looking at a home and want to get it inspected, don't hesitate to call Doug, he's spectacular! We wouldn't hesitate to hire him again!

We've been using them for 12 years. Their name also speaks for them because they give economic service to their customers.

They did a good job for us. They were professional and friendly. I would rate them overall an A.

I've been using them for years. They come out once a year. They are polite and do a good job. I'm satisfied with their service. After I bought my house I didn't think about having a monthly inspection although I knew there had been termites in the house. Fortunately, when I refinanced my house a long time ago they required a pest control evaluation, and I did have termites. I'm glad they send out a reminder because it helps. I expect their price to be equitable because I haven't paid anybody else. I have to call them again for service.

I have used them for 10 years and during that time we have not had bugs or mice. I will use them again in the future.
