Asheville Fence

They came out, gave an estimate almost right away and after I accepted they were here and completed the job by the end of the week. They even straightened out another part of the fence that had been messed up at an earlier time an no extra charge.

Terrible experience. We recently worked on a project with Asheville Fence and nearly every aspect of the project got messed up: Timeline Our project was to have started the end of May and only began nearly 1.5 months later. We even paid according to their suggested timeline in order to secure the May start date and it still didn't happen. This vendor is terribly untimely. Horrible Management Greats sales...then they stop responding and are even rude. After the sales pitch-that was great and they were easy to work with in that area-they completely dropped the ball. It's was like a bait and switch. When we complained, it was escalated to management/ the owner. She brought her husband into the mix and he actually yelled at us! Orchestration of Project The fence itself is nice and their INSTALLATION teams are very nice. HOWEVER, after they installed the actual fence, the gate-part of the same original order, project, and fence-was not installed. So now months late and half a project complete, there is no gate. They tried to put up one they said was ours but when I showed them images of what we ordered and what they were installing, they saw that they were very different. Further, they said it would take 6 weeks for it to be ordered (as it wasn't ordered in the original-same contract-project), made, and installed. Overall, now that the project is complete, we are are pleased with the fence and gate. However, I would recommend NOT working with this company if you can avoided it. There are other companies it there who could do a great job and make the experience far better, adhere to the timeline, and NOT yell at you. You've been warned.

Asheville Fence did a great job fencing in my backyard. Most of the fence running along the sides of my yard is black chain link, but the street-facing portion is decorative (not chain link). It looks fantastic and enhances my home's appearance, and I've gotten nothing but compliments from my neighbors and my lawn service guy. Their sales rep came out and talked us through all of our alternatives, told us what we needed to do (e.g. to clear paths for the fence through the shrubs along the side of our yard), gave me a very reasonable and precise quote, and told me when the installation would take place (six weeks after my 50% down payment, to give them time to order and receive all the materials). Almost precisely 6 weeks later they sent a team of three very professional and friendly guys to do the actual installation, which required two days. The foreman frequently checked with me to make sure everything was perfect. I tipped all three in recognition of the excellent work they did. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Asheville Fence.

They did a wonderful job, the fence is attractive and appears to be dog-proof. They removed some old fencing and took it away before erecting the new fence. They went "above and beyond" expectations.

We were very pleased with the entire process. Asheville Fence is a top notch company with very professional staff. The individual who did the estimate, the office staff and the installers were always friendly and readily available for any questions we might have had.

I would recommend Asheville Fence Company to anyone who is looking for the best in the industry.

They did a very good job.  They have a great product and I get compliments on my fence all the time. They are very professional, and cleaned up leaving things looking spiffy.

The firm that initially put in driveway gate was unresponsive to calls for repairs. Fortunately, Asheville Fence came to the rescue. The firm seems well organized from the first phone call to the wrap up of service. They came when they said they would, did the repairs in a timely fashion and the bill was reasonable. The folks associated with the firm are very nice and they did follow up to ensure we were satisfied.

Careful, professional, attractive work

It went well.

They took special care around our dogs, to make sure they had areas to play in while they worked. When a few fence posts needed to be moved, they. Made no complaint, no additional charge, they just did what we asked. They were very professional, from the quotation all the way through completion. We are very satisfied.

Correction: The installed fence was manufactured by Ameristar and not Armstrong as I previously wrote in error. Please excuse this mistake in my earlier review. Thank you.

We had Asheville fence extend an already existing black aluminum fence. It took a couple months for them to get proper materials after we paid our deposit, even though it looked like a standard fence to us, they ordered wrong materials first time around. Then when they came to install they cut out what they called and quot;brushand quot;--what they removed was the dogwood tree of a neighbor. Tree was near our property line but was clearly in the neighbor's yard. They threw the removed fragments of tree on our driveway. In their defense, they did give the neighbor $$ to buy himself a new tree.

They knew better about what I needed in the fence than I did. The guy who was like the foreman who was actually doing the work figured what would go better and what wouldn't. It came out beautiful. They were really really good, and I would use them again in the future.
