Determined the cause of electricity failure in garage outlets and outside yard outlets

I bought a 10KW backup generator for my house. The original contractor grade fuse panel in the garage was not originally plumbed for a transfer switch. David from Salmon Electric came out to the house, looked at what needed to be done and afforded an estimated total cost. 2 days later he had compiled all the necessary parts and equipment to get me and quot;off the gridand quot; in case total electrical power loss. He probably saved me several hundred dollars in parts alone. Dave installed a switch in my fuse panel instead of a giant exterior transfer switch, he ran a wiring bundle from the panel to where I put my generator, and, he installed a receptacle for the wiring bundle in the side of my generator control panel so the wires can't be pulled out by accident. Dave grounded and bonded the entire setup and made sure I was comfortable with operation of the unit.
