Lets Get Pawsitive, LLC

Our little dog Wesley is six years old. We rescued him five years ago from a rescue organization that saved him from a dog fighting operation. Through the years, he has been a decent pup, but would bark at strangers or other dogs. About two months ago he and I were attacked by a pit bull mix. He was seriously injured, both physically and psychologically. Since the attack, he would attempt to attack other people, including our baby, and dogs. In one instance, he lunged after Doberman Pinscher and bit it. Our neighbor referred us to Let's Get Pawsitive and it's owner Agnes. In our first phone conversation she spent over an hour collecting Wesley's history, listening to our behavioral concerns, and even suggested a number of approaches that we could employ. A few weeks later we had our first of four training sessions with Agnes. She assessed Wesley's situation, taught us how to use positive reinforcement to correct his behavior, and practiced with us. Wesley made noticeable progress after each session. This is mainly because Agnes not only took the time to explain each step in the training process to us, but she emphasized the necessity of consistency while we are home. Moreover, she taught us how to read Wesley's body language and gave us the tools we needed to de-escalate stress and aggression. I would recommend Let's Get Pawsitive to any person who is seeking to train their dog or modify its behavior.

I just want to express my gratitude for how truly amazing Agnes is. Words cannot even begin to explain how much she has helped my fiancé and I with our 3 dogs. From the first time we spoke about our fur babies she was genuinely interested and asked questions about them I had never even thought of. We had the pleasure of working with her in two capacities as one of our dogs was in group and one in individual classes. She went above and beyond to help our dogs succeed and exceed our expectations. The individual classes she provided for Missy, our high energy anxiety ridden baby, were beyond successful. We decided on individual sessions and after each session our guy knew something new and we were left with things to help further develop him throughout the week. In between sessions Agnes would check on his progress and answer any questions we had. She went out of her way to send us information relating to him. I could not have asked for a better outcome both for the dogs and myself. It is important to me to understand why something is happening and then how and why we correct in a manner. Her positive methods are excellent and the dogs which are 2 pit bulls and a lab all responded extremely well

Agi gave me step by step direction. She showed my what to to and I was so surprised at how. Much he responded to the training. Within a week my dogs would come back to me every time I called him. The classes were extremely well organized and fun. My dog and I have learned a lot of new things and also enhanced her good behaviors through positive reinforcement. Great! My dog Ringo was not good around the other dogs so Agnes gave him individual lessons after class. We learned a lot and the dogs all loved her.
