Day & Aldridge Heating & Air

I came home last night from working a 12 hour shift in the ER to find my central a/c unit dead!  I called Day & Aldridge first thing this morning, thinking "here goes at least several hundred dollars!"  Last year I had a similar experience, and Mooneyham charged me $200 to come out and replace a fuse!  Ronald called me back right away.  He walked me through some things to check on over the phone.  He told me how to change the fuses in the unit.  I bought fuses, but unfortunately that did not revive the a/c.  I know he was busy today.  It was our first day in North Carolina with temps over 100 degrees!  Since I have used them in the past, he was at my home within a few hours.  I was shocked, thinking it might be Monday before they could come look at it!  He tested the unit, and it turned out my thermostat was bad.  He replaced my thermostat inside the house, and I couldn't be happier!  Ronald was courteous, professional and tried to help me do it myself before coming over!  I will not use anyone else!I know that my 12 year old gas pack is on it's last legs, and when the time comes to replace, I won't consider using anyone else.

We have always been satisfied with Day and Aldridge Heating and Air. We have been using them for over thirty years now. I do not discuss finances with people but they have always been more than fair in regards to price. They do good work, are willing to back it up, come when they say they are coming, and do responsible work.

The heating and air conditioning unit in our house works like new again. We were pleasantly impressed with the quick and efficient manner in which the workers completed the job. Everything went perfectly and we highly recommend these contractors.

It took two trips for them to get the air conditioner working the way it should be. After the initial installation, our house wouldn't cool down no matter where we set the thermostat. We called and had them come back and check it. It has worked fine since.

I was very pleased with the work that was done. Everything still works properly and we did not have any problems after the new unit was installed. They were friendly and polite. I do not remember what the exact price was, but I thought it was a good, fair price for the job that was done.

THEY DID VERY PROFESSIONAL WORK. I HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS. THEY HAVE GAVE ME GOOD SERVICE AND I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING THEY DO.
