I am a real estate agent and finding a good home inspector that isn't constantly booked and unavailable is hard!  Several agents in my office recommended Arthur Hall to me and I'm so glad they did!    When my client and I arrived at the townhome, he was already there inspecting the outside of the home.  He walked my client through what was going to happen and what he was going to do.  When he found issues, he made sure to include my client and explain to her and I what the issue was.  I received a written report of the entire inspection within 2 business days and we were good to go.  I would recommend Arthur to anyone looking for a home inspector.

I found Mr. Hall on Angie's List (looked for local inspector with a positive rating) and he was also recommended by another home inspector as the person he would call to do his own home inspection. Mr. Hall answered his own phone, was able to come out on the date I needed, has a license number in is the low double digits, and was VERY reasonably priced. He even agreed to wait till closing to be paid. Obviously I was already quite happy with him before he even came to do any work. On the day of inspection he was at the house when we got there. The inspection took about 3 hours. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable in regards to routine inspection checks, about all the systems in the home and he even looked for a buried oil tank in the yard, which apparently a lot of older homes have and can present future problems (mostly financial) is not addressed. It seems that inspectors are not required to check for these so I feel very fortunate that I got an experienced inspector who knew his stuff. I had a full inspection report, including photos and copies in hand the very next day. I honestly can't say enough good things about Mr. Hall. He gave us the information we needed in order to draft an informed and fair contract and potentially saved us thousands (even tens of thousands because of the oil tank issue) in home repairs. If you are lucky enough to hire this man, you will not be disappointed. Hopefully, we will be able to purchase this home but, if not, then he will be the man I call for my next inspection. :-)

THIS MAN IS VERY THOROUGH IN HIS INSPECTIONS. HE IS DEPENDABLE AND HARD WORKING AND HONEST IN HIS DEALINGS. IF YOU NEED HIM TO RETURN, HE WILL DO SO WITH NO EXTRA CHARGE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
