Considering it has been 7.5 months and I am still waiting for the job to be completed I would say lousey. This contract was signed on Sept 15 of 2016. Upon installing a large picture window the seal in the window was broken and the wood around my window damaged. This contractor has lied so many times about coming to replace the window I have had to keep a journet of the dates. My back porch has rain gussing on my head when it rains because the gutters were not installed back over the porch. I had to pay another contractor to cork the inside of the windows because he refused to fill in the gaping holes inside of the windows whihc had foam smeard on the window seals. Numerous lies and not reliable at all. My eves look like a two year old installed the vinyl with numerous cuts instead of a continuous piece of vinyl. Wants me to pay him to redo it when he did it wrong to start with. Thats a joke. Continuous lies about coming to replace window and not only never shows, never has the common courtesy to call and say he is not coming. My advise, save yourself a huge headache and keep looking for a dependable contractor.

I GOT STUCK ON MY ROOF. Long story short I had to call the fire department to get off my roof. You may ask "why were you on your roof?" I had a roof put on by A&B Roofing D.B.A. as W.O.W. Roofing. Ever since the roof was placed, it has leaked. If that was the only insult... -The owner underbid other roofers. He then asked for additional money. -It is a flat roof. There are ponds of water on the roof. Even I could see there is no way that water could go uphill to go out the drain. However, I might try to rent it out for mosquito research to recoup some of my losses -The metal trim on the roof is unstable, parts of it were shimmed by pieces of wood. -The roof was supposed to be white or light colored. It is black. -All of the seams are bubbling. -The sealing material is globbed on and is peeling back -The interior ceiling has started to bow down from accumulating water. I had replaced the ceiling tiles, so the damage to them has occurred since the roof placement. -It is leaking in places that did not leak before. -The owner was terrible. When I had a complaint against him with the BBB, he came to my house, told me I had better sign the resolution form because it could be "painful or unpainful" -One of his workers came into my house uninvited, I saw him skulking around in the hall way listening to our discussion with the owner. If he wanted a witness, he should have been open about it and they would have been welcome. - He raised his voice to my mother, and acted like a petulant child. He acted like such a bully. He would not sit down to talk, just kept walking around and raising his voice. I had never been so glad to see someone leave, and that includes my ex-husband. -When I initially complained about the job, the owner came over, said "someone else has been up working on the roof, so the warranty is voided." It was a measly 5 year warranty...but, this was very shortly after installation. NO ONE ELSE had been up on the roof at that point...including anyone to do repair work. -The owner wisely reflected, maybe you could get a contractor and evaluate the cost of building a pitched roof over the flat roof. No lie. -SINCE THEN, I HAVE HAD 2 REPUTABLE LOCAL COMPANIES OVER TO ASSESS THE ROOF. ONE ROOFER SAID HE WAS AFRAID TO GO UP OVER THE LIP OF THE ROOF, AS THE SURFACE COVERED WITH METAL WAS SO UNSTABLE. THE MATERIAL HAD NOT BEEN INSTALLED PER MANUFACTURERS GUIDELINES. BOTH COMPANIES STATED THE ROOF WOULD HAVE TO BE REDONE. So back to how I was stuck on the roof...I was up on the roof, sweeping pooled water off the usual places it accumulates since A&B Roofing did the job. I realized I had not put the ladder up far enough to swing back around and onto the rungs. I stood up there, waving my arms. There were some friendly people that waved back. I set off my car alarm. No one paid attention. Finally, my mom drives up. I had been up on the roof, in the rain, for 3 hours. She calls the fire department. GO GRAHAM FD! I LOVE THEM. A very nice fireman assisted me off the roof. THANKS A&B ROOFING FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT AND THE MULTIPLE FIRST RESPONDERS. I hope the people in the judicial branch of Alamance County are as nice as the Fire Department people were. Stayed tuned for Long Story Short "I spent a bunch of time in court suing A&B roofing" If you don't want to spend time stuck up on your roof sweeping ponds of water off, time in court or just a great deal of aggravation...use another roofing company.

After contacting this company, they called back and arranged an appointment for a week later.  Someone came by at the appointed time, measured my gutters, but had no examples of their gutter guard product. 
After some delay, he finally presented an estimate for $1650 which seemed high for a local company with no product examples.  Also, they required half the cost up front, and half upon completion. 
Having recently gotten ripped off by a local contractor (with an "A" rating on Angie's List), there was no way I would pay half up front for any product I had not seem or to any vendor I do not know. 
Research has revealed a Consumer Reports review from September 2010 that indicate professionally installed gutter guards are no better than homeowner installed gutter guards which are much less costly.

They do a nice job.  They recommended a roof that would work with a warranty.  The workers were great.  They got it done with my roof when they said they would.  They were very prompt.  They cleaned up after themselves.  They saw a big nail in my mower tire and they fixed it for me.  My roof has not leaked since they put the roof on.

The service was very good overall. They were prompt and were able to get all of the jobs I wanted done at once (minus the roofing). Their estimate for the roofing was the lowest out of three I received.

Being new to town, I found this company through a Google search (didn't have Angie's List at that time). They came out and inspected my roof and gave me a quote of $450 to repair my roof and told me it would be done the same day. I agreed to the price and that afternoon a repairman for the company came out and and quot;fixedand quot; my roof.
Because it was a new home purchase, I inquired with my home inspector why the damage had not been caught. He sent out a worker to review the work and that is when I found out how badly Aand B had repaired my roof. Because a gutter had backed up, the decking under the shingles had completely rotted away. Instead of repairing the roof by replacing the decking, Aand B decided to put a piece of sheet metal over the damaged area and place shingles on top of the sheet metal.
Once I found out how badly Aand B had repaired my roof, I called them to complain. The owner told me that what he did was actually better than replacing the decking. He insulted the repairman that my building inspector sent out and basically said he didn't know what he was talking about.
After I told him that I was going to get other opinions from roofers, he agreed to repair the roof to my satisfaction by replacing the rotted decking.
