This family run business has been a landmark in Brevard ever since. Starting with a single store on the historic corner of Main St. and Caldwell St, Rice Furniture has sold generations of families quality furniture and mattresses at a friendly price. - new flooring too high under pocket door. I had to remove pocket door and reinstall to get to work. Installer broke pull handle on pocket door trying to force it to move.
- installer nicked kitchen cabinets while removing existing flooring
- installer dragged dryer across newly installed flooring, scratching flooring, requiring multiple tiles be replaced
- Installer did not clean up after completing his work each day, leaving a mess for me to remove daily
Eventually we reached the point where we just wanted to get the job done and over. There appears to be a philosophy in Brevard that the quality of workmanship only has to be and quot;good enoughand quot; and Rice Furniture is an example of that.
