McCall was prompt to call me initially and also to come out and see what was needed for repairs. However, when he called to advise parts were in, he was two days late in coming out and that was only after I called his cellphone. When he was on first call, I told him that if the job entailed too much expense, that I would just buy a new one from Lowes. He adamantly tld me that Lowes was no good and that the repair would not cost as much as a new grill. After I was informed of the charges, he told me that replacement cost was cheaper than buying a new Ducane grill. I was stunned.t I did not make any further comment and just wrote out the check and he left. It is true that no actual estimate was given but I know, based on current economic situations etc that I was ripped off.
